At least it wasn't American taxes paying for it...This time.

I've heard of an American tax-paid study involving some species of African bird (This happened so long ago, I don't even remember any other details). After spending over $500,000 they figured out that birds don't waste their resources on such a scale in order to study humans...


Another particular study I heard of about 20 years ago involved a tax-funded study to find out why kids fall off of their tricycles...The results? About $60,000 was spent to find out that they "lose their balance". Talk about a waste of tax money when the same results could've been figured out in less than a second by any Joe on the street...If anyone had bothered to ask Joe in the first place...
