Wow, the Taliban will never get to those digs.
Imagine.
What would they do to the luxury villas if they regain power.
Blow them up as symbol of the decadent west.
Or take them over like a Castro move.
That was one CIA backfire.

I'm thinking we're still in afghanistan for one of the same reasons we were in Iraq....To plunder and pay boatloads of tax dollars to Government owned companies and companies with political ties.

The official story is in response to the terror attacks on september 11th and because the terrorists hate freedom. We are still there to ensure that the Taliban does not get back into power.

Do I believe this? Nope.

Why are we honestly there?

Money (Oil, Weapons manufacturing, nation building, etc etc)
&
Power (Appointing "US Approved" leaders, military bases)

What else would the government want?
