I do not really see a problem with it as long as they let the kids bring their meat-filled lunch on those days if they want to. Do they allow that?

When I was in High School I recall 3 Lines, A la Carte, which were specialities such as Pizza, snacks, etc.
School Lunches-Whatever they served.
Alternative-PBJ, salad etc.

I didn't see the part that had anything to do with Obama indoctrination. It was the schools way of cutting costs, by cutting basic nutrition of it's children. Obama had nothing to do with it. Quite a sensational title to your thread with very little subatance.

Well 3 to 5 years ago, did you have all veggie day? If not this is different. Seems to me what they were saying was that you didn't have any choice for pizza, etc on all veggie day because it was ALL VEGGIE DAY.

Save money by skimping on veggies? I guess meat by-products (read "waste products") filled with 90% Soy and Silica (sand) is cheaper than veggies. After all, Taco Bell is doing just fine turning a profit doing just that. So why not our schools?

This is outrageous and one of the most whacked things I've heard today (and I've already heard some whoppers...like Limbaugh suggesting those who believe in Global Climatic Change should commit suicide to help reverse Global Climatic Change).

However, the title of the thread is even more whacked. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Video, OP, or Topic.

I'm just thankful my daughter attends a Public School that is 90% Vegetarian/Vegan. Her teachers get incensed when I send her to school with a Kosher Beef Pastrami sandwich in her lunch. However, at least I know she's also getting her RDA of "commie" vegetables like Broccoli, Carrots, and Squash. (She even gets excited when they serve Brussel Sprouts...now that just ain't right for a kid her age!)

No but there was an alternative option to not have any meat at all. While it may be "all vegatable day" they most likely have the same options over there too.

Not to be overly critical, but your post is misleading in part.
However, I do agree that meat from "profit-driven" businesses are to blame for this misconception.


Meat does not clog arteries. Fats that our bodies are not able to digest clog arteries. Animals raised on non-grass foods, hydrogenated oils, palm kernel oil. Unnaturally processed foods defy and deny our bodies health.

Ironically, animals raised on grass produce fat and protein that encourages healthy arteries and cholesterol levels.


Anywho, I hope we all calm down and advocate what we believe is helpful to ourselves and our neighbors alike regardless of the flags that seem to rule our hearts and minds.

When I was in school the relatively well off kids brown bagged fancy things, the poor kids brown bagged PBJ and an apple and the in the middle kids ate the school slop. I'd take PBJ over the school slop any day.
