This is on behalf of ocker, donkey86, mcmauro, probably others and now myself.
Google moon 19 58 48.31 N 21 11 35.57 E (on version 5.x) has been brought up in 3 previous posts about moon anomolies and whilst everyone has an
opinion regarding some odd shaped moon rock that may or may not be say, a trans dimensional galactic battle cruiser, an old alien space base, space
mining or for all I know Elvis' grave, everyone appears to body serve explaining this nearly 300m long do-da.
And if Nasa can point to a pixel or 2 and go "Lcross crash!" then this has to be well worth a look and discussion.
I'm not going to post a pic as it's already on ATS (do a search with the co-ords) , but I'd like you to look at this via Google and feel the WTF
and FFS as you zoom in.

I'll see if my upload pic will work for everyone who can't or won't find the picture...
As for the object, it doesn't really seem like anything to me. The absence of a crater I guess would mean it isn't a space rock, unless it somehow
came in slow, or has been there so long the crater is gone... however long that would take on the moon. Millions of years?

Wow ....
"a trans dimensional galactic battle cruiser" is not the first thing that comes to mind. Looks more like rock to me. Maybe a flaw in the picture.

Looking at the image, I see that the elevation is -9391. Would that not put the object deep within a crater?
Just my 2-cents

Looks like a man made base. As you can see the left corner is square and from what I can tell is very accurate in its angles. The distortion of the
picture might affect this though.

From this perspective, it looks like a multi-tiered platform. For drilling? For launching?

That does look interesting... certainly not typical of the surrounding geology, and the straight lines are striking. Thing is, Google has in the past
been known to perpetrate little "jokes" on their Google Earth... might this be another such case?

Exactly, this "joke" is so big that any tread about it get imediatly buried...
If i could start a tread, i would do one about mining the moon, and that also would be buried at once
Just a glimpse:

Very interesting. It looks foreign compared to the land that surrounds it, like some type of artificial, man-made foundation or something. What is the
"official" explanation for this discovery?

The very first thing that came to my mind when looking at the 1st photo was some kind of base or compound. The after seeing the second picture, I'm
convinced that it's something artificaially made on the surface.
WOW!!! I wanna hear how they try to expalin this away.

there seems to be more of these. 21 4 43.46N 18 8 57.34E
Could it be shadows and light pixelated?
No shadow or light but you can see the rectangle pixelation.

hmm, just noticed something, not sure if anyone posted this in other threads as i dont have time to go through all of them but...
when you switch to the "lunar orbiter mosaic" imagery taken back in 1960's, the thing disappears, it's only visible in the "visible imagery"
which, if i understand it correctly, was taken in 90's...
1960's picture
1990's picture
not sure if this is caused by lower resolution or because it was put there only recently... whatever it is.

The object is too sharp to be considered realistic. Notice the edges with sharp black lines surrounding the anomality?
