I miss the days of enjoying the alien forums, but when you see a new title for "Mile wide UFO over Brazil" every other day, it gets annoying.

I can remember hating Fox as much as Grover when Bush was in office, but now this new guy..whats his name again? Simply doesnt seem any different to me. So my only option is to align myself with the criticizers.
This cropping and editing goes both ways as far as the eye can see.

So your dismissing evidence because it reminds you of someone else you don't care about who didn't make the film?

That is kinda sad.

For you pinheads that "wanted change"....you got it in spades this time! Mental midgets that follow their party "no matter what" make me sick. How old are you anyway?

Keep worshipping your golden boy! He's just about to give away our sovereignty and goofballs like you are still running up his behind to get a sniff.

I'm not a huge fan of any news. Fox is just one of the "least bad" (not by much). When your government goes after a news station, you really should wonder why. Even Billery and the slut parade didnt go to this extreme!

Stalin and Mao would be pleased with the way their protege is working to eliminate dissent!

OK take for the first place that Ariana Huffington was one of the bastions of the Republican party and then POOF like she saw some magical faerie hovering over her she's a leading Liberal....

Divorced her Husband who she stood up for and started all sorts of legal challenges for when she thought liberals were stealing the election he was running for, now is advocating all things Liberal.

People do not switch sides THAT extremely unless they are just going for the popularity factor, and that is one reason her publication should NOT be trusted.

Pretty Obvious-Grover, that you are a gov-plant.

First of all absolutely no one uses words like " Egregious" on ATS.

Explain this: When Palin was running for VP. how come none of the news media, including FOX (the Lemming channel) reported that she , as Gov. of Alaska was technically Commander and Chief of the Air-national guard
air defense missle battery ( our first line of repelling a Russian attack) and that she received regular security briefing......No...........we had to elect a no body community Organizer.

How many main stream news organization reported the Acorn ballot cheating? 00000 & 0........

How many reported on the Communist back ground of Van Jones?00000&0

Ok people I listed my three now you Republican & independents add yours,
sorry no, no Democrats, or left wing radical commies aloud to comment.

We wanted change, well we all wanted change but not from a thriving free nation into a New World Order-Amero Big Brother controlled nation.

We are about to go under as a Nation and I know many people that are not going down without a fight.............................KMG

Alright Grover. I watched the first clip with Bill Hemmer and that is as far as I can go with this BS. Huffington is rationalizing the behavior of a minor 15 year old student who confided in his teacher because the student was above the age of consent. WTF!!! School Safety Czar Jennings told the student at the time that he hoped he used a condom. The student replied by stating WHy? and that his life wasn't worth living anyway. OK!

PATHETIC!!

Way to go Huffington!!

Your agenda and rants against Fox News have no merit when your base your story on #$@% like this.

Ok, you are going to condemn Fox news with The Huffington Post and Michael Moore...

and the Kevin Jennings thing...let's get this straight.....
a boy (15) reported to Mr. Jennings that he was meeting strange men
in a train restroom and having sex with them.
Kevin Jennings asked "did you wear a condom".
that was all he had to say about this poor child's lack of judgement.
personally , I think that is a little sick.

Great points and thank you for giving them the details that they wanted. It's not like they didn't know about them already. I guess they just like to see if we know.

The media (who many high level members have switched from employment at most MSM outlets to the WH) covered only the negative factors of Palin during the election. You didn't hear the negatives about BHO or Biden. Before you begin destroying Fox, make sure you put the other MSM BS outlets in the same group. At least Fox can say they haven't been in bed with BHO from the beginning. How many MSM can say the same? Exactly.

Take the whole MSM and get rid of them all. Start over. I'll trade you all the worthless media speaking heads for the real journalists of 30 years ago. No news outlet covers it fairly but cbs, abc and nbc all played without interruption the health care plan of BHO. Remember, those outlets didn't allow ANY counterpoints to be made during the broadcast. Guess you forgot that eh?

Lastly, you are wasting your time nit-picking at Fox. You are falling into the same pit that these other jokers are. You are focusing on one PART of the problem, not the entire problem. All MSM is biased. They don't report the news. They focus on what their sponsors will get the most eyeballs to see the ads. Stop pretending that only Fox is in this.

You should have posted a thread about ALL outlets being corrupt, not being balanced, etc. Instead, like news outlets of the day, you focused on a biased point-of-view. Disappointing. You aren't any better then those you are blasting.

I think the real lesson to be learned is that no source of News today is to be trusted 100%. Issues slanted by spin have become the order of the day and the average Joe and Jane are only falling deeper into this vortex of disinformation. Not even ATS is above hype ( I was so disappointed to see the Obama/Kenya item as the lead item in the video )

At any rate everyone needs to put their BS filters on Maximum and be prepared to weather the disinformation storms heading our way.

As a former "news junkie" I've squandered more than enough of my life watching FOX, CNN, MSNBC and the broadcast news shows.
MSNBC, to it's credit, doesn't try to claim they are unbiased the way FOX constantly does.
Their hosts are easy to pigeon hole:
Scarborough- mainstream conservative
Schultz, Olbermann, Maddow- liberal
Mathews- liberal or conservative, depending on whichever is more popular in the latest polls.

FOX and CNN are dumbed down to the extreme.

But here's something I've discovered- don't watch any of them and you're life will improve exponentially. They all represent the corporatist powers that be.
If you want to know what's going on then you've got do a lot of reading and discerning.

It could be argued that true objective media is impossible and while I would personally make this argument it's fair to say that things could be more objective than they currently are.

I've only visited the USA once and it was not long after 9/11. I didn't watch much TV but I have to admit I never liked the tone of Fox news. Admittedly they're not the only media outlet at it.

Personally being from uk, seeing all your news stations, they are all just as bad as one another.

Unfortunately our media outlets are little better, they are more subtle in a sense because they are made for the British public. Fox's shows are made for a certain demographic and to keep those within it thinking and voting a certain way. In the UK the Daily Mail is similar in that it is made for a certain demographic and promotes certain ways of thinking about certain political issues. Not exactly objective.

Originally posted by superratYou have to ask yourself who funds this crap? I suspect that you will find some interesting left wing money behind this. It's a favorite liberal trick -- dress up your talking points in a self righteous pseudo documentary to evoke the sympathy of the masses.

An interesting perspective but it is possible to have a more objective critique of media in general which does not pander to anyone. I'd suggest The Day Today and Brass Eye. Both are spoof documentaries/news programs designed with two goals in mind, firstly to get a knee jerk reaction from viewers and secondly to use the storm created by that to criticise the media. Neither, as I have said, are tying to evoke the sympathy of the masses, on the whole the masses miss the point.

When it was GWB in office it was CNN and the left that attacked him, now that BHO is in office, fox has done a big flip flop and is attacking the same crap they used to defend.

That being said none, not one of the stations is different. Its either left or right. And the fact that John Stewart has to present the truth as satire is biggest crime you people let happen down there. If the news is left or right then it will never be straight, if you get my drift.

Now the answer is to hold these people and companies to the fire and bring lawsuits against them when they lie, even if it never makes it to court it will make a big enough splash that they will have to make some changes.

The problem is we don’t hold media to the fire about lies and truth and sue their asses off when they lie. And I’m not talking about a slap on the wrist. If 2 million people brought a 5K lawsuit against these people they would be screwed, could you imagine it? And that’s what you need to happen, you need to stop bickering about this group or that group and hold them all to the same standard or sue them for misrepresentation of the truth, causing hysteria, anarchy or chaos with the lies they create.

The fighting they have created between the two sides is working and working well, id bet the same person pulls the strings of both puppets. I can picture one handler with a fox on one hand and a AC360 on the other laughing insanely with joy at the mayhem they have created.

Regardless of the source, the information is true. Please provide counter evidence if you have it.

And of course it's going to be a liberal site to run this story...do you think Fox would point out it's own mistakes and fraud? A better way to response to this thread would have been to give examples that the liberal media is guilty as well, instead of just moaning about the source and not even denying the information.

Wow, talk about condescension! So the liberal gets to explain to the dumb ole redneck how to post a reply? Typical.

Seems to be to be really hypocritical to use the line "regardless of the source..." in justifying your bashing of Fox News. So, if i get this straight, anything that is critical of the progressive/liberal/democrat side is due to Fox News distortions so we should ignore it, but anything that is critical of Fox News, we should accept ti because "regardless of the source" it must be true if the liberals say it is.

And you wonder why Fox New is the number one news network in the world!

Uh oh, Grover. You're in trouble. You insulted Fox! Now you're in for a lot of bashing lol

I do find it funny that a few people choose to avoid the issue of corruption on the part of Fox news by attacking Huffington Post. Two wrongs don't make a right. Who do you expect to report about corruption in a left vs right situation? The right isn't going to attack itself. The left won't either. Each with gladly attack the other. But they also don't owe you anything so they'll sensationalize the negative as much as they can get away with. People outside of the argument probably want to stay out of it, so unbiased opinions are hard to find.

Though, for once, I was genuinely glad to see a few people who actually understood what was going on. All MSM is biased. They're privately owned and have their own special interests. The names may change, but the tools and tricks stay the same. Influence is power. If Fox was really a big bad threat to the status quo, they would have been taken down already. Instead, they only provide more evidence that they're tools of the system to distract us and keep us under control.

The situation with Obama is just downright cartoonish. The left glorifies him and the right demonizes him. He's not worthy of either one. I still don't see more than a mediocre president. Maybe my crystal ball just isn't working like everyone else's. I can't see the future and fill up the list of all his successes and failures before he's done them. I wonder if Fox or MSNBC will let me use theirs.

Do you guys remember the good ol' days of ATS when Fox news was referred to as "Faux news" and was taken with a grain of salt?
