We have been sitting on very advanced technology since July 1947.
It took us over 40 years but we finally figured it all out.
Look how many jobs were created by the World Wide Web.
- Economic Boom ! - 1995 -2000
eCommerce ! We actually ran a SURPLUS on the budget!
We will have a new and improved space shuttle in 2015 that will not require
those big expensive/dangerous booster rockets.
Power generation will also take a quantum leap forward.
It's not just a United States of America quantum leap forward.
We will be taking the rest of the entire planet Earth with us.
It will take over 50 years but we will eventually abolish poverty
on the entire planet. There are too many people starving
and suffering on this planet. Why fix the entire planet?
- Because it's the right thing to do. -
We will be mining the asteroid belt out past Mars.
We will travel from Earth to the asteroid belt in about 1 hour.
I know it sounds like science fiction but that is what's going to
happen in about 5 short years.

The world would need less oil. That would put people out of work.

Oil would not cease to exist without purpose just over night or even few years. An evolving and mutually prepared program to harvest and create jobs would certainly be thought of not just by governments but equally or more by the private industries.

Yes indeed very possible, there is no need for fear mongering. Even children and humans find find time for play during times of hardship and world despair, just imagine how the people in other third world countries have been living in the past century, we really should stop and examine the facts of what we deserve now days.

Most of our early countries and laws has been built upon corruption of lies by the elite who employed a deceitful plan by planting the roots of what is to come and has already come in our society today. All there is today that withholds the righteousness from the righteous citizens will cease to exist over time. This economy whether be concealed to the road of destruction or healing and prosperity is of not much concern to me since I know that there is more good in people than bad that will endeavor to repair any damage in our economic and social society. We normally as a world society learn from our mistakes and reduce the repeatable occurrence from happening again.

As far as putting people out of work with this new technology,
I'm sorry but we are moving forward. - Learn and Adapt - then
grow fast. I'm sure the buggy whip manufacturers did a lot of
complaining when the automobile showed up.
We will create more jobs than we get rid of. I can promise you
that.

Again, how do you know this? And if your right about #5 but not #6, where will we all live and how will we feed everyone?

Either you have information or you are a utopian with grand ideas that you only "hope" will happen. I wonder if you have thought about the consequences of your ideas.

That's no secret. If that's what you meant by "dual technology", pretty much all technology serves a dual purpose. Many companies produce both technology for the average man and the military. For instance, microwaves and nuclear subs.
This is no secret, just never heard it referred to as dual technology.

It's really not that hard. It's just technology.
The internet IP internet protocol is just technology.
Fiber Optics sure came in handy connecting the whole world.
Broadband ISPs - FiOS - Cable Modems - just technology.

1) The advanced technology is mainly artificial gravity wave

2)What is advanced technology. We is the U.S. Government.
All knowledge was suppressed until we figured it all out.
The United States has the right and the responsibility to
protect its secrets. Iran could use this technology to attack Israel.

3)We have already seen a little about this. Very safe Helium 3
Fusion reactors. No steam - solid state power conversion.
Also solar power panels will increase in power and cost will
go into a free fall. How does 250 Watt panel for $100 sound?

4)We= USA Taking them with us to other planets.
Tourism boom!

5)We will live on the Earth, on the moon, huge space stations,
other planets. We will grow plenty of food here on Earth.
Hint: the technology exists to control the weather. It's
really not hard to do. No more droughts.
We can build arboretums on the moon.
It will be all very exciting and very busy. Learn-Adapt-Grow

6)This quantum leap is possible because we will just be cheating.
Doing what has already been done on other planets. Just
copy them. If it works for them, it can work for us.
I would like to get started tomorrow but it's not up to me.

Like I said, love your ideas. When I was a kid, I thought we would be living on other planets by the time I reached the age I am at.

The thing is, what could be and what is are two different things. I agree, all the things you speak of are possible. If the world got together tommorow and decided to make things happen, I believe it could be done in a short time. The human race could be much more than it is! Unfortunately age has proven to me that humans really dont deserve these things.

I have said it before on ATS and i will say it again. There has never been a time in history that the majority didnt choose to support the dictator. Cant remember where I heard it but its true. The world you speak of just doesnt exist. Its sad. Such a beautiful place and so much uglyness at the same time. Too bad. Hope you can prove me wrong!

I forgot to tell you. There is a cure for cancer, heart congestion
and diabetes.
The cure for cancer is nanotechnology. Tiny robots that swim
through your bloodstream. They can swim over and cut off the blood
supply to the tumor.
Heart congestion? The same robots can swim through and clean

Diabetes? That one is stem cells. Grow you a new pancreas.
Take out the bad one and install the new one. Make your own

I know it looks hopeless right now with the economy but
we really do have a very bright future.
The cure for cancer robots are talked about in Scientific American

If Obama was smart, he would spend about $250 Billion of that
stimulus on a NEW CITY just north of Los Angeles. Jobs - Jobs -Jobs!
Make it with energy efficient heating/cooling systems. -Green City Example-
If we want to soar out of this recession, it would be a good idea if
California leads the way! Get fresh water from the pacific ocean.
A new desalination plant would create even more jobs.
We would have something to show for our investment.

Its amazing how you dodge every question regarding your source of information and assertions…..It’s like……well it’s like you are a “professional” at it! I was actually considering building a city with free energy, no waste or pollution, medically advanced hospitals capable of overcoming and curing any medical condition at no cost to the patient and completely in balance with nature. It would have a variety of free, energy independent housing structures for you to choose from. There are an unlimited number of professions to choose from and unlimited supply of nutritional food is available at our currency free eating establishments. In fact, the whole city is currency free. The only requirement is that you meet the minimum employment requirements. I am working on a pamphlet now. All of the things you have mentioned in this thread will be available. I think its right up your alley. You might consider moving there.
