Here is the link and a snipit

The Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations will hold their 15th conference on climate change through December 7-18th. At the conference, globalists like Obama will sign the ‘Copenhagen Climate Change Treaty’ that will replace the Kyoto treaty that is set to expire in 2012

Lord Christopher Monckton, the man who warned many this week of the treaty appeared on the Glenn Beck radio program, he makes it clear that the treaty will create a World Government Dictatorship that will have complete authority over all nations by intervening in the economies and environment of any individual country in the world without consent. The treaty will also allow the distribution of wealth from developed countries like the U.S. to Third World Countries like Africa, in other words; taxpayer-funded socialist welfare!

I heard about this on talk radio this morning and wondered if this was the main reason that Obama took a seat at the Security Council of the United Nations.....man it does not look good for the home team.

There is a link further down in the article with the Treaty Draft

I certainly hope this thread gets more attention than this.
Our Constitution is getting ready to be thrown out the window. How can we stop this ??

Yes, very good.

However, listening to a one-sided rant does not explain how this treaty will create a global dictatorship. Sounds a bit like misinformed scare-mongering to me.

The Treaty will seek to:

1. See how much the developed industrial world will limit emissions.
2. See how emerging economies (e.g. China) will get their act sorted out and limit their growth of emissions.
3. See how the rich help the poor to get their act together. (This must be the "socialist" fears, redistribution et al).

The big sticking points will doubtlessly be the balance of burden between the rich-developed (US, Europe) and the getting-rich-developing (China, India).

Regards

That's exactly what it is. People hear the word "government" and don't realize that it has a broader meaning than a group that governs a country.

Here is the actual treaty if anyone is interested in going to the source instead of listening to this nut job, Lord Christopher Monckton.

Oh noes! World Government! I think I just felt the sky falling a little bit!

This is just silly, but it's the stuff that Conspiracy websites are made of!

Climate Change is normal.
Climate warming was incorrect - so they just decide one day to change the new "disaster" to Climate Change - which again - is - normal.

Now - why do we need to have the big boys in a place all together
to make laws and treaties about CLIMATE CHANGE?
Come on.

It's a lie.

This is crap.

This is control.

We don't need a "climate change" treaty.

If it is about reducing emissions and being more mindful about what is going into our atmosphere - then call it that. Call it what it is.
It's not about climate change.

.....seriously why is Lord Monckton a nutjob? What has he said/done that makes him so? He sounds quite knowledgeable to me, holds some reasonable authority, and has some science to back him up so other than the fact you apparently don't agree with him why are you throwing arrows his way?
