Namaste!

My path has brought me here, so here I am! I seek connectivity with like-minded (indivisible) individuals, as I am sure that is why most of us chose to congregate here. We are here because we have "quest"ions, (and some of us have answers), and ulitmately, every perspective is an important and colorful piece to the whole. My intent is to use this site (and others) to gain (as well as lend) insight and understanding in a world filled with misconception and confusion. May I be as much of a light to all of you as I am sure that all of you will be for me, for we, after all, are one.

So, let me introduce myself: My name is Melissa, but as an artist, I use the name Medusa (looong story of self discovery that I will not bore you with here). On the surface, I am a simple mother of two, a loyal soulmate of one, and a passionate lover of All. On the inside, however, I am a web of complexity and depth, and I am still trying to unravel all the threads. I suppose this site, for me, is another "ironing board" from which to exploit and dissect my own perspective of "truth."

Nothing happens by chance, so I know that everyone I meet here will be either a test or a catalyst for my own self discovery (which is also your self discovery), and I thank you all in advance for your assistance, be it conscious or not, and I hope to spread an abundance of Love and Light for all to real-eyes!

Your description of yourself sounds similar to how I feel about myself. And given that I've been out of work for the last 6 months, it's given me lots of time for soul searching.

Is this not evident in all of life? Life is a refelction of itself on every level. It would seem as though you are reflecting that which has already consumed you.

To "ignore" is to choose "ignorance." I feel it is the acknowledgement and acceptance of such negativity that allows us to transmute it. The point is to be a light where darkness trod; and that, in turn, is the true test. Even the darkness serves the purpose of the ALL. It presents choice, and without it, there would be no opportunity to express free will.

Unconditional love is the acceptance of All from a nuetral standpoint; to NOT favor the child OVER the child molestor...for we are all one and the same.

You are right in a quantum sense, that by engaging with the negativity, your 'lightness' will transmute the 'darkness'. Should a person seek out the negative in all aspects of their daily lives, in order to carry out this transmutation, or should they seek positivity, peace and tranquility commensurate with their level of evolution?

It will obviously depend on one's point of view; one's purpose in this life, and one's level of spiritual evolution. There are those who are positive and of 'light' energy, who prefer to remain in levels of positive vibrations and avoid the negative, because it is in their best interests at their current stage of development. Then there are more advanced people who actively seek out the negative; engage with it, with the intention of transmuting the negativity.

It's personal choice according to one's ability, but I think it's helpful to point out to people newly registered with ATS; that just like out on the street in everday life, there is just the same mix of people from the positive and negative ends of the spectrum, and all the various levels in between. Then they can decide how best to deal with the challenges presented by some of the most negative members, should they arise.

Hi Medusa (I hope you don't mind me calling you Medusa instead of Melissa since art is all that there is)! I'm glad you joined the community. We are definitely in need of more sparks of awareness with the intention to spread and expand their own awareness.
