I love fractals & I love TED. It was a little complicated and a bit over my head but I was able to understand it. I thought he was going to say that those fractals were happening naturally, but the people were doing it on purpose.

Conclusion,great post -very interesting stuff.
If you've not seen it before,theres a great documentary here
about fractals featuring Arthur C Clarke,Stephen Hawkings,Ian Stewart and Dr Mandlebrocht.

It is nice to find confirmation about something that you already know.
Cregg Braden writes about this phenomena in his book "Fractal Time"
Book was published in early 2009, that book is one of my favored reads, it also ties fractals to Mackenna TWZ theory...
Fractals are very exciting topic to talk or think about. It all ties to the Pi ratio or 1.6180399 the magic number of the universe.
