There are plenty within our own western agencies, I am sure, along with some shady banking concerns that supply whatever is needed to keep the ball
rolling.
War, after all, is good for business, as they found out after instigating two world wars and many other minor ones before and since. Sell to both
sides and you are on to a real winner.
As with anything, it should be a simple case of "follow the money", although it could well be life threatening (understatement) to carry out any
real investigation. As for the weapons, the country of origin / manufacture often doesn't mean an awful lot. What matters is where the money came
from to buy the arms. Ever wonder how a bunch of impoverished farming folk all of a sudden rise up, brandishing automatic weapons? Where the hell
did they come from and who paid and, more to the point, who benefits the most from the ensuing conflict?
