NORAD pulled fighters to Alaska and Canada

Fighters that could have been used to help intercept the planes on 9/11were pulled away for an excercise.

Sept. 9, 2001

CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN AFS, Colo. – The North American Aerospace Defense Command shall deploy fighter aircraft as necessary to Forward Operating Locations (FOLS) in Alaska and Northern Canada to monitor a Russian air force exercise in the Russian arctic and North Pacific ocean.

NORAD-allocated forces will remain in place until the end of the Russian exercise.

Interesting, I have posted about this numerous times it was the only exercises that was really going on 911 that we have proof of but remember we were only monitoring their exercises we where not participating in their exercises.

There were no reports of any war games scheduled for NYC on 911 that were reported before 911. Not one single report. Months and years later all these internet articles showed up about war games on 911 but these cannot be substantiated as fact. Any time there are war games to be exercised over a city the military always lets the local government know and there is always a Press release to the public as to not scare the local population.

Yes i know we were just montoring but the point was the fighters could have been used to help intercept the planes on 9/11.

There are listngs of other large exercises that are on a normal time frame, and yes there were others going on around 9/11.

So you think the NORAD press release is not good enough evidence?

What kind of evidence would it take for you to believe something, or are you one of those people who are closed minded and only want to believe what the media has told you?

Has anyone ever considered that if you can view this news story that was uploaded on 9th sept. 2001, then maybe the terrorists also read this!?

Operation Northern Vigilance was an Operational Mission not an exercise.

No aircraft that would have otherwise been on alert were used for this mission. It was SOP to have 4 aircraft on alert for the East Coast and that's what was on alert on 9/11. Even if Northern Vigilance had not occurred, there still would have been 4 aircraft on alert.

It wouldn't have made any difference anyway as NORAD was not notified of the hijacked aircraft in enough time for a successful intercept.

Half assed research and a biased agenda lead to half assed allegations.

The OP's thread title is not accurate. No USAF fighters would have deployed to FOLs in Canada. NORAD, which is a joint US-Canada organization, would have sent Canadian fighters from Cold Lake AB and Bagotville QC to FOLs in Canada as required for the operation.

Reheat is correct in that this would have had no effect on numbers of A/C on alert status anywhere in the lower 48 or southern Canada.

Very weak argument. The fact that there were NUMEROUS exercises scheduled for the week of September 11th left most people that were at norad, neads and other agencies thinking "This is just an exercise" That is how 911 was allowed to happened unimpeded.

There were over 15 hijacked aircraft, numerous cruise missiles, simulated russian attacks, terrorist attacks, bio attacks, all occurring on 911.

These people that are loyal to the official story are on a very small sinking rubber dingy in frigid waters. It will be funny to see them drown and turn blue. .....Fishfood.

Check again.

A few things I´d like to point out about the video.
1.- The first statement shown (from GWB) talks about nobody being able to predict an attack using commercial aircraft in such a “massive scale”.
Putting this statement at the beginning of the video is misleading, why?
Because:
1.- The exercises mentioned in it do not discuss the using of hijacked airliners to attack buildings at any time.
2.- The statements by the authorities in the video are about nuclear, biological or chemical attack expected to happen within 10 years.

And well... the final images are really insulting.

Why would you say the video never mentions the attack using hijacked commercial airliners being used as missiles to hit buildings?

Are you glossing over the fact that Bin Laden was on the cover at 0:45 seconds of the video and that Saddam Hussein is also featured?

Did you really read the fine print? Did you miss "Hijack aircraft" "cruise missiles" and the child like pictures of planes and dotted lines aimed at major cities?

No. And I only mentioned OBL at the end of the video because I think it an insult to show him wrapped in the U.S. flag.
As for the hijacks and missiles, 2 things.
The hijack mentioned in the video refers to a hijacking as they were before 9/11. Taking an airliner and it´s passengers to a different place than their original destination and making demands.
In fact, I believe the images shown are from a 70´s movie starring Charlton Heston where an airliner with it´s passengers and crew are hijacked by a crazy soldier to Russia with a stop in Alaska.
So, this example has NOTHING TO DO with what happened on 9/11.
Also, the “child like pictures of planes” you refer to are UAV. Unmanned aerial vehicles. (Drones.)
Nothing to do either with passenger airliners.
As far as missiles mentioned, yes I saw that, but don´t see what it has to do with anything. No missiles were used on 9/11.

I get suspened and banned from sites that do not like it when i can post facts and evidence (that would hold up in court) that shows reasonable doubt in the official story.
