It's the best I can get with the OS. It's an XP Dell CD anyways.

However, ya cant beat seeing a 2.66 machine perform almost like a dual core with a change of OS. It's also why my XP is out on the other one... It WAS a dual core.... And if this one can keep up with 2 processors that were even faster- it's cockeyed all around.

Just as a side note, I do run virus protection/ defrag, and maintenance tools regularly on both.

That's strange, but then I have never seen a Dell in my life, maybe it's "natural" that they have those problems.

Some manufacturers like to fill the computers with stupid and useless things that just make the computer much slower than it could be.
