Ready for what?

Some muslims are demonstrating.....so what?

Do you think the whole country is going to suddenly collapse?

Up to 5000 Radical Muslim's may turn out.

Oh Noes.

I take it you've never been in London during May Day protests.

I'm not convinced anyone in London would even notice a protest with ONLY 5000 people in it.

Being honest here.

The only reason i can see anyone rioting in the Uk is when the TV goes down and people can't watch X factor anymore.

Fact:
Many years ago i was caught up in a riot after the Police busted a rave, it was quite scary - rocks and bottles being thrown, a few people hit by police truncheons and bit by police dogs and helicopters flying around... People vandalising stuff and all sorts of chaos and disruption.

Do you want to know what quelled the riot?

The rain. It started raining and people lost their morale and went for a cup of tea in a 24 hour cafe.

Only moments before these people had been kicking police cars and scuffling with the Rozzers, and there they found themselves supping tea and eating toast as though nothing had ever happened.

That's kind of story just makes me put my palm over my face and shake my head.

I can't believe the rain broke up the riot. Maybe the police should of just sprayed some water over them.

It is because people are fickle and shallow.

They only riot because others did. And they are Followers.

They do not lead themselves, nor do they think things out. Especially crowds of them, they definitely do not think things out.

Rioting like that simply does not help the situation ever.

Heres how reality works.

Protests are a joke.
Riots are a joke.

Either you revolt 100% and fight to the death, or you don't.

It is very simple.

If you want change, you have to bleed for it. Bottom line.

Otherwise, get over it and move on with your life.

You're right, I have never been to a May Day protest, and I only hope that you are right about about the potential protest.

I'll probably be working that Saturday.

You know, I've been saying for weeks now I think the brakes on the van have been a bit dodgy.

After 4 years in Belfast - I doubt even 5,000 muslims will have much of a wow factor for me. As for worrying about the breakdown of the rule of law etc - I live less than 600 meters from an RAF base and I DO know what the police there carry.

So change my plans - hardly
