Three major companies in Germany are being investigated and prosecuted for what is basically industral espionage also.

The trader in the article was essentially hiring senior execs and then placing them inside major tech companies and then trading on the info - sadly this is rife everywhere in the corporate world and happens all the time.

Cant help but think that the reason why this trader was wiretapped was in the first instance due to his funding of a terrorist group - as opposed to a genuine thrust by authorities to clamp down on insider trading and corruption etc.
