I'm just blown away with this Album... Sweet Madam Blue... The Grand Illusion...

where can I find a transcript of these songs...? all I can say is: WHOA~!
and these songs were released in what middle 70's...

I wish I could post the songs and let you listen to the lyrics.. its like a calling card
for the NWO...

lyric:
the spell we are under and we still wonder who the hell we are...?
also, I noticed it seems they keep hitting the same cords over and over
like the Encounters of the third kind... very interesting ... I wonder what they knew to write these songs... and I jammed to this stuff and just ran accross it 30+ years later and well wow...

Sorry, The Conspiracy I'm currently researching with some rockers is...
have we been pre-programed using Music, and well so far ... Pink Floyd and Styxx are two Identified as NWO messages... interesting stuff we are finding... but its Friday... and it 5PM... got a lot of research to do over weekend... Rockin...

Lead vocals by dennis deyoung

Welcome to the grand illusion
Come on in and see whats happening
Pay the price, get your tickets for the show
The stage is set, the band starts playing
Suddenly your heart is pounding
Wishing secretly you were a star.

But dont be fooled by the radio
The tv or the magazines
They show you photographs of how your life should be
But theyre just someone elses fantasy
So if you think your life is complete confusion
Because you never win the game
Just remember that its a grand illusion
And deep inside were all the same.
Were all the same...

So if you think your life is complete confusion
Because your neighbors got it made
Just remember that its a grand illusion
And deep inside were all the same.
Were all the same...

America spells competition, join us in our blind ambition
Get yourself a brand new motor car
Someday soon well stop to ponder what on earths this spell were under
We made the grade and still we wonder who the hell we are

I heard this song again a few weeks ago for the first time in many years (I had the 8-track back when it first came out!) and was totally shocked by how relevant the lyrics are to me today. I remember not caring much for this song then, but I was 14 or 15 so what did I know?

I think I might buy the album again on I-tunes and give it another listen.

Yeah, I always liked Styx. Just go to Google and type in exactly like this:

Styx lyrics "The grand illusion"

You will get a list of sites with the lyrics for that song. You can find any song by any band this way. Don't forget to include the quotes where indicated. It tells the search engine to find those words together as a complete phrase on the page.

Hey, not quite sure if I agree with your point - I don't necessarily believe that music is preparing us for an acceptance of the NWO - not in terms of the artists at least, but perhaps in terms of the mechanism, merchandising, marketing and branding of them.

I really think a lot of important/classic artists are trying to "make a difference"TM - but that in this increasingly cynical world they inevitably become hybridised by the system that they're involved in.

I think that speaks for itself and this one also bears relevance.

Dude, I had Pink Floyd - Division Bell in WinAmp when I opened this thread and it continues to play as I type out this response.

This must be a sign

Please read

My friends,

You have heard the message Pink Floyd has delivered,
but have you listened?

Perhaps I can be your guide,
but I will not solve the enigma for you.

All of you must open your minds and communicate with each other,
as this is the only way the answers can be revealed.

I may help you, but only if obstacles arise.
Listen.
Read.
Think.
Communicate.
If I don't promise you the answers would you go.

so combing through these lyrics, it seems like they are warning against the NWO.

i would fully accept that many artists were approached to send messages. what better way then "mindless" music.

i'm just scratching the surface on all of this...i hope to have some sort of real addition here before the end of my shift at midnight.

I think if anything its a warning against the NWO not some effort to condition us. OR it could just be typical down with the man stuff that was and still is prevalent in some music.

I somehow think that some acts are overtly trying to send us messages and as contemptuous as I find them, Coldplays' anti-war stance would seemingly reinforce this. Bands like Floyd always seem to be conveying more libertarian ideas and concepts - but I guess it's a lot easier to do this when you'e a multi-millionaire living in a lovely country mansion, the irony does not escape me.

With regards to any Illuminati or pro-NWO messages in some music, I really don't think it's a case of that, even if the . of a record label wanted these messages to come through, how easy/hard is that likely to be to filter it down the chain to the artist/songwriter and maintain any kind of secrecy about it.

I think that with a lot of the more banal chart/pop music the real conspiracy lies in the dumbing down of entertainment and the simplistic messages of conform/obey/consume - with the emphasis on CONSUME.

what about this one;
Golden country your face is so red
With all of your money your poor can be fed
You strut around and you flirt with disaster
Never really carin just what comes after
Well your blacks are dyin but your back is still turned
And your freaks are cryin but your back is still turned
You better stop your hidin or your country will burn
The time has come for you my friend
To all this ugliness we must put an end
Before we leave we must make a stand

Mortgage people you crawl to your homes
Your security lies in your bed of white foam
You act concerned but then why turn away
When a lady was raped on your doorstep today
Well your blacks are cryin but your back is still turned
And your freaks are dyin but your back is still turned
You better stop your hidin or your country will burn
The time has come for you my friend
To all this ugliness we must put an end
Before we leave we must make a stand, oh yeah......

(solo)

Golden country your face is so red
With all of your money your poor can be fed
You strut around and you flirt with disaster
Never really carin just what comes after
Well your blacks are dyin but your back is still turned
And your freaks are cryin but your back is still turned
You better stop your hidin or your country will burn
The time has come for you my friend
To all this ugliness we must put an end
Before we leave we must make a stand

Also a pretty good commentary on today

Rush 2112 was based on Ayn Rand's short book Anthem*. I think she called Rush on it. It was pretty obvious if you read the book.

As well as the Borg from TNG/DS9/VOY/STTMP(V'Ger)

Styx's "The Grand Illusion" (1977) and Kansas' "Leftoverture" (1976) were 2 of my favorite albums (yes, vinyl) when I was growing up.

Hard to find new music like that now-a-days.

there's something happinin here
what it is aint exactly clear
theres a man with a gun over there
tellin me i got to beware

i think it's time we stop, children
what's that sound
everybody look what's goin down

there's battle lines being drawn
nobody's right if everybody's wrong
young people speakin there minds
getting so much resistance far behind

it's time we stop,
hey what's that sound
everybody look what's goin down

what a field day for the heat
a thousand people in the street
singing songs that they're carrying signs
mostly say hurray for our side

it's time we stop,
hey what's that sound
everybody look what's goin down

Par-a-noiastrikes deep
into your life it will creep
it starts when your always afraid
step out of line the man come and take you away

we better stop
hey what's that sound
everybody look what's going down
