fightinwordsusa.wordpress.com...
that Obama was likely going to sign a treaty that would end up transferring our wealth to third world countries and create a new world government. I wouldn't be surprised if cap and trade was the method. For the average American, this would result in electricity bills possibly increasing over 100 dollars a month and gas prices and anything that uses energy doubling or tripling or worse in my opinion. If you wanted to start a civil war, this would definitely get people fired up after they find out what our leaders have been up to.

I know, I asked earlier if things seemed surreal, I wasn't even thinking that in terms of lack of concern for this.....we are in for some historical times my friends.

It is weird how there's two threads and not even two pages of responses.

What's going to suck is all the people that don't believe that CO2 is some tentacle monster ready to devour whole continents are going to be seen as tentacle monsters or racists or holocaust deniers.

Maybe this is why Obama got the Nobel and why they want to put 376,000 troops on the streets....

People are going to be pissed when they find out how much they're going to have to pay to save us from what plants breathe, that with the 50 trillion he alrady owe, welcome to green slavery.

Here is an excerpt that will make your skin crawl. Rush Limbaugh played this on his show today and for the first time, tears welled up in my eyes as I realize I will be alive when America ceases to exist. I will publically state now that I will give my life for this nation to see that tyrants are not given the power to destroy or corrupt that which God has given us. There will be a revolution and the blood of patriots will be shed.

This is the headline I've been waiting for since Obama took office. I didn't think it would happen this soon, but I've known it was a possibility for a while now based on his political stances.

I don't know what else to say, except that this should scare the beejesus out of everyone.

I'm bumping this thread to try to keep it near the top of the boards.

This is vitally important that everyone read what this treaty will implement upon us and what it will mean to the Constitution. With the Cap and Bill Trade, the Codex, and then this Treaty will essentially give the UN and all of the governments the power to do whatever they like, and any risks be damned. They will essentially be acting more as One if this gets ratified.

Here's an interesting tidbit of a discussion on Limbaugh's show earlier this week:
www.rushlimbaugh.com...

Boortz talked about this back in July:
boortz.com...

MSN was saying it's a crucial step in fighting global warming:

Bump!

Yes, I have. I've been saying a revolution is coming for awhile now. Ron Pual, the tea parties, Glenn Beck, Limbaugh, and a host of others have been talking about these changes. I think all of us were expecting this to happen later rather than sooner. The stark reality of this is sinking in and I know it's going to get ugly.

To hear it put like this in the video brought it all home to me in a way words can't describe. I alerted ATS admins to this as I think that this should be issued as a banner alert at the top of every ATS page. It is that important.

This for me, is the most important thread of the times. I am also confounded by the scarcity of replies.

If America falls, we all do, it's as simple as that.

I'm also surprised that this isn't attracting more attention - whether it be to alleviate fears or to discuss the repercussions for the US, Europe et al..

Bump from me

I just wrote a 4 paragraph response to this thread, detailing why we need treaties, why they do take away some sovereignty, and how that is not a good or bad thing, it just is. And how Glen Beck and Rush Windbag are not actually qualified to speak about anything official, like international political points. They can of course give opinions, but we all know that opinions are like a particular part of the body. Further more, no other country wants to own the US. They make too much money not owning us. We cost far too much for another country to run, and the fact that a lot of you, as seen on this and other threads would run a long term insurgent campaign, no, its best to allow a Giant like us to run its course. You realize that a lot of other nations see us more like a force of nature then anything else.

Shame too, I felt as if I really made some good points in my origional essay...

Who said anything about another country owning the US? Lord Monckton certainly didn't say that. He indicated that this treaty would establish a world government, redistribute wealth from Western nations to third world nations (due to 'climate debt') and finally provide a means for enforcement.

If you are o.k. with allowing this treaty to supercede our Constitution and dissolve US sovereignty, then by all means write all the 4 paragraphs essays on the matter that you wish.

I'm taking a CLIMATE EXPERT, who is FULLY QUALIFIED to speak on matters such as this, at his word when he says that this treaty will do just as he has outlined. Limbaugh is merely a messenger trying to get more publicity on this.

I think people like you just wait until someone mentions Beck or Limbaugh or Paul or any host of others who disagree with Obama's plans so that you can pounce and decry their lack of qualifications for speaking on such matters. Why, that requires a degree from Harvard, Yale, Brown, Columbia, Oxford, etc.. Surely ordinary men and women can't be trusted to espouse their opinions on matters of such grave importance. People like you have all of the answers, don't you. We're just pawns waiting to be told what to do because we're just not smart enough to know what is going on.

Shame on you sir.

It sure is, this is an important topic, and look at the few responses, I don't get it.

that's because it's not going to happen...Obama was a constitutional law professor, and this is a completely rediculous idea. i believe in aliens more than i'd believe in this happening. why do people make these things up?
stoke that fear, baby...stoke that fear.

why would him being a constitutional law professor stop him signing this thing or the treaty having the said effect?..all that means is he knows what he is signing...if its true that makes it worse..surely..

Really??? And where is your proof that it isn't going to happen.

Don't make me laugh. Obama was a constitutional law professor, so what? And he has shown allegiance to the Constitution how? Didn't he state that he thought the Constitution was inhernetly FLAWED?!?

Come on. He's a foreign born, secular progressive (possible socialistic) narcissitic individual bent on dissolving all of what America stands for. He's been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing but talking about change and in my opinion is being groomed to take up the position of President of the World with the signing of Cap & Trade.

sorry, i didn't explain myself...IF this treaty threatened our national soveriegnty...he wouldn't sign it...the treaty DOES NOT threaten anything

there is so many shall/ shoulds and maybes, and ifs, that there is plenty of wiggle room. it keeps listing "considerations", "accomendations",
i didn't see anything that is written in stone.

if you believe all what you wrote above, then there is no discussion with you. your mind is already made up, no matter what is told, shown, or proved. you believe obama is wrong on everything he does and says, and i'm not going to waste my time on you.

That's THE REAL PROBLEM, more people believe in aliens than they would believe in something like this happening. Exactly how Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc, etc, etc were allowed to do the things they did, ...because so many said "it could never happen". Shameful.....

Its not about "belief" for those opposing obama (unlike his "flock"), its about what we see and hear with our own senses and listening to them, allowing the red sirens to go off instead of just dismissing it as "not possible".

You and those like you are the ones not willing to debate, you have proved nothing other than saying " uh uh, he is not, you are. I am rubber you are glue....." as opposed to sound bites, written words, and actions which "our side" comes up with to prove their point!!.

I am beginning to "believe" that those wondering, if obama bloggers are coming on here to add childish mumbo jumbo to rile people up, are right.
