What would you have done different 5 yrs ago knowing the political economic situation today?

What would you have done differently 5 years ago if you knew then what the

current political economic situation was today in the U.S. and World? It could

be a financial decision you made a relationship decision or practically any

change you would like to go back and make in your life in the past 5 years.


Mostly everyone would like to go back and make some changes in their life

depending on each and everyone's priorities at the time. Try to limit your

changes to 5 or less over the 5 year period on this thread because like me

many could write a book about the changes we would of liked to have made

back when. ^Y^

I would: sell stocks, buy gold, and move to another country prior to the 08 presidential election.

Not sure there is much you could do to stop the banking fiasco or mortgage crisis or Iraq/Afghan war disasters.

Left the mid east brotheren alone. I understand BUSH issues with SADAM and FRIENDS for attempting to kill his DADDY which I can understand. BUt to selfishly send so many souls to HADES FOR HIS OWN REASON was not a good move. I always felt if he got issues wit Sadam then why not send in your TOP NOTCH UNKNOWN SPECIAL FORCES AND KIDNAPP OR ASSINATE HIM /THEM and call it a day FOR I DO BELIEVE IN AN EYE FOR AN EYE (YOU TRIED TO KILL MY DADDY SO I WILL KILL YOURS) understood. But when he created all the WMB PROPAGANDA HE BASICALLY GAVE THE EYES OF MANY GLOBALLY UP TO BE POKED OUT AND WE ARE WITNESSING THIS TODAY.

I did know it. Well, maybe four years ago. I'm intuitive when it comes to some things, and knew that this would happen sooner than later. I told my parents of several things to do investment wise which would have made them rich, but of course they choose not to listen.

Seeing as I've got no money to work with, I did nothing.

We can already see from your input what going back in time could do to the

time line of 5 yrs ago and today so thanks for your input and keep those

changes coming. ^Y^

Oh, you mean actually going back in time then? That changes a lot. I would:

1. Tell myself that people are foolish idiots and trust nobody but family. (would have saved me years of agony)

2. Tell my brother (who died) to end his friendship with the guy who got him killed.

3. Sell my truck and invest $$ in google.

That's all I would really want to do. Guess I've got a lack of imagination this morning.

I would have invested in Halliburton before 9/11...

I know its wrong but hey....

I would need more than 5 yrs methinks...

5 years ago in 2004 if you had gone to your friends, family, business

associates and told them precisely what was coming economically and politically

in 2009 they would of thought you were off your rocker. Many will be afraid to

tell you today what they would have done differently in the past in fear of

persecution from the socialist state and the political correctness police.


I would of told more people I loved them and would of started sooner a

major project I am working on for humanity. ^Y^

See even if you told people exactly what was going to happen when it comes to

the banking fiasco, mortgage fiasco and Iraqi and Afghan wars most still would

not believe you. You could give the politicians a road map of exactly what is

coming and it would not matter they would only self serve their own interests no

matter what the outcome. ^Y^

It has you thinking even though you need more then 5 years to go back and

make changes. This little lesson in what if helps prepare ourselves of what is

coming in the future. ^Y^
