look you guys.
not only are they not going to make you get one of these things, they are not even going to give you one.

they will charge you plenty and make you sign a service contract.

Maybe in a hundred years you will be fined for not having one though.

but not now. they don't have the money to give those things away and maintain them. (almost daily updates probably)

Three easy steps on how to disable a RFID chip on an item...

1. In one hand hold item containing RFID chip securely to a hard surface (such as concrete)

2. In the other hand take a hammer

3. Repeatedly beat the hell out of item with hammer

Note: If item becomes broken and unusable... throw it away!

That's right, their eigther let you "choose freely" if you want it
or they make you want it.

they will charge you plenty and make you sign a service contract.

Of course THEY don't pay for it.
Why should they when YOU can pay for it.

Why a service contract?
Just make it mandatory and enforce "regular checkups"
(like renewing your passport every 5 or 10 years)
Of course you have to pay for the checkup.

I don't think they will fine you.
I think they just make it impossible to live without it.
No chip means no money, no job, no house, no food, ...

As mentioned above YOU have to pay for everything.
The chip just contains a number (in this case a 16-digit number).
The number cannot be changed.
It just links you with your entry in their database.
So after you got the chip there is no maintenance necessary.
