It's hard to assign a number in general. As I go further and further up the chain, the lower the number goes.

I mean...Joe Postman. Probably 90+.

Obama. Probably 30.

The people that run Obama. Less than 1.

The scale was 0-100. I stand at 0. Trust is earned.

Not only do I not trust the gov't, I fear that I will be detained for peacefully protesting, as most police depts. no longer know what the constitution is.

Well I did not factor in Ron Paul, so now I cannot say that my trust is zero degrees Kelvin, so that's one in there to trust.


Now, miraculously, there IS another politician whom we might be able to trust, so note my message to all of you below:

What's the best way to tell if the government is telling a lie? Simple whoever is talking, their lips are moving, lol.

A resounding minus 50 (-50).

More than not trusting I fear it.

When I was young an Naive i say about 75% now its down to 0, honestly, after knowing all that is known about lies and half/non-truths that they put out, misinformation, abuse, false flags, and all things of that sort, how CAN you trust a government that is willing to shed its own peoples blood in order to line the pockets of the coffers?

It's like some flesh-eating beast from hell that can reach down anytime it feels like it and devour any one of us. The most stressful thing in my life always has been and always will be government looking over my shoulder.

Wow those are some very strong feelings, you must know you can make a change. You must be willing to stand up for what you believe in, if not for us for our kids and our grandchildren.

Thankyou for the great insight. Im going to look into that, it sounds very interesting. Also the one set of rules for the rich and one set of rules for everyone else is dead on.

Assigning 0 on a 0-100 scale indicates irrationality because there is no such thing as 100% evil. "The" Government constists of thousands of people like you and me.

The only thing troubling is how many people here are brainwashed-to-hate-unconditionally.

That being said I am not so naive as to believe that a nation of 350 million can function without a government or even a severely shrunken one.

The problem isnt in the size of the government for the most part, the problem is that most every government official has their own agenda/interest.

Do you see any *any* value in people such as bush, cheney, rummy, rice, clinton (either one) or obama? These people are far more than evil -- they are kidnapping, torturing, mass murdering, stealing criminal trash.

In any equation, people such as the above will invariably pull the final value into negative ranges. Believe anything you want. Dealing with reality is not irrational.
