We have this apocalyptic post doing the rounds on the net

might be wrong but I smell marketing for a big summer movie - any idea what date "Day after" is released in the Pacific market?

(havnt looked but Id bet "Armageddon" will be on some channel this holiday weekend)

Yes I work in marketing - and have seen some great viral net campaigns over recent years

Okay seriously I'm new to this forum and I have been reading alot of the posts on Aussie for awhile now, and from my point of view... if it happens, it happens if it dosent than were stuck with the goverment and everything else the world has, for me it would seem that this is a step up in the world and not a step down.

I just recently saw"The Day After Tomorrow." In the movie they first think the new "ice Age" will happen in maybe a hundred or a thousand years from now. Then it becomes 6-8 weeks. "6-8 weeks?" Much like this said apocalyptic fortune teller. What it comes down to is
A) If the government has already stopped him before, they would easily stop him again.
B) This said, "the peple that know, have gotten hurt." Is to bull for my liking. If that is so, this guy would be dead by now.
C)The fact that he is 60, tells me that maybe someone is not getting there medication.
D) There is no said proof. The diagrams he showed, are to Microsoft"Paint" for my liking. I am fascinated by these said UFO and "Top Secret" and "End of The World," sites. Much like this one, I find it a place for said people to talk about there fears, and in end scare other people. But what happens is not believably, because everytime, these prophecies are not fulfilled. What I am saying is that if the goverment is powerful enough to hide UFO's and Space information, then why cant they stop a 60 year old elderly man from talking about there secrets. The computer is just an invention, not for our amusement, but much like the use of the Nazi's, to track and record the people of this country(or world) My point is, everyone who believes in these said "secrets" is usually hiding something from themselves.....a conscious. Must we be so busy worrying about our deaths, that we forget to live our lives? Why must we fear, when we can be happy? Why must we live for our death, when we can live for our life?

Mkugs - we have a saying on this site - "Deny Ignorance" - what Aussie Bloke posts - to me at least reads like lets stir the pot - and smells of marketing.

As for being worried about the "End of Days" (lets get another movie reference in here) - I have been too close to a few things to let this stuff get me down and I suggest you take a deep breath before reading or read holding a large dose of salt.

I grew up watching two super powers square up - that was frightening enough - and we didnt have the internet to fuel our fears - so when Hollywood sees fit to use this medium to push its wares i become the total debunker - If im proved wrong - then who will be around to know after all

Got home from seeing "Day After.." and Discovery aired a program on asteroids and comets . Strange coincident.

Also, I've been following Aussie for awhile but don't think there's a marketing strategy of said nature going on.

Dig a little deeper. On GLP, a user by the name of LYROS has posted very similar content as Aussie. The thread titled, "WHAT I'VE KNOWN AND HAVE BEEN A PART OF FOR 5 YEARS" was posted by "both" users; both with similar but fundamentally different content.

It's been a great ride, I've learned alot about the cosmos, but it's over .

I have been trying to form a post which would be helpful here but the technology humans have given me has to many limits.

Had I have been able to this post would have contained SCRATCH-N-SNIFF Prozac for all who needed it.

It takes many hundred of thousands to millions of years for comets from the Oort cloud to go from there to here.

Im getting tired of dredging through the godlikeproductions forums.

last week I posted that this was all a bunch of hogwash........and I for one was NOT buying it.

THEN, I get pulled into this ~FEAR~ and start thinking about running and an escape plan......(thinking ~UTAH~ is the point of touch down for ONE of these ROIDS ....cuz of a dream I had in the past)

Now? I am reading this thread yet again....and I am a fence sitter, at least untill may 30th is all done and gone by............just a little old fence sitter. with a contingency plan.

Ok, WTF is with anagramming Aussie Bloke? Bloke is an australian slang for a man. It referes to a man from Australia. Sorry, but this is bugging me.

Anagrams can ~SOMETIMES~ be very usefull in helping one understand the nature of the other being anagramed.

Tis a TOOL is all..........and about time it has come to light on this thread I think.
