I wish these bleeding things would speed up (if they exist) i cant wait to say i told you so to several people, at least then i might die happy in the knowledge that i was right and that i knew before them!

_ARMac_ I read your links they are extremely interesting and very relevant to this thread. However, they are a little old. But what's a few years to a prophesy? The blink of an eye. This is EXTREMELY interesting. There is no scientific explanation for this as far as I can tell. Perhaps the most valid evidence yet, for me anyway, for the existance of Jesus Christ.

It would be interesting to see what the orgin of the blood was. For example: the blood from a martyr's statue was actually that martyr's blood.....

If this happens like I want it to (not hitting N.A.) then this could be the most exciting and interesting thing in my life: the opportunity to remake mankind, or at least society in my own image. And even if it ends up killing me, at least nobody will have to wait around for society to collapse under its own weight, which might be much uglier.....

two other thoughts.

1st: the anomaly. its suggested that its 'manovering' and 'changing speed' at regular intervals like a powered object. ?????? Also it's coming from the rough direction of the 'reticulum' now we all know what 'people' live out that way dont we...!

2nd: in June Venus passes infront of the sun. Perfect for the debunkers and coverup artists cos ALL the worlds scopes will be pointing the WRONG WAY! Very neat.

The "people" mentioned that live at Reticuli are the alleged grey aliens. Their home world is supposed to be the 4th planet of Zeta 2 Reticuli

Did anyone think this could be a hoax by some movie producer/executive who wanted to cite greater interest in his movie coming out on Friday in the USA - "Day After Tomorrow"????

Since all things are possible, wouldn't this be possible too and how p-d off we would all be if that turns out to be the real AB???

I just don't know. I was planning on remaining on the fence over this end of world thing.
As time passes by however, and more things come to light, this all coupled with the feelings of a good amount of the ATS family such as impending doom, something's "not right" etc.

I am getting increasingly un-nerved, tomorrow when we find out if the ISS is gonna be abandoned/evacuated or not will be a big thing for me. It may just be the proverbial straw to break the camels back.
Maybe because this is the first proper "end of days" style event that I've really thought twice about.
If this is a hoax or a publicity stunt then there's a lot of people in on it, if it isn't then there's nothing we can do about it.

I say 40% of me thinks it's a hoax and 60% thinks it's actually on the cards. Unfortunately, i think the 60% is very slowly increasing.

I know what i'll be doing, beer, Class C and a young lady on a mountain .

Now that's reaching a bit too far. The movie The Day After Tomorrow has nothing to do with an asteroid, or three for that matter...

They are actually thinking of evacuating it for some reason? I have not heard anything about that on the news...

naa, why would NASA tell their people not to comment on the movie if this was so? They latter decided to let some people comment, but their first reaction tells us there is no link to the government.

I did a google search on a variety of June Asteroids and it seems that almost every year a doomsday asteroid was set to destroy mankind each year....each was sur this was the one and each had thier satellite images and astronomers to back them up...isn't this just another year of crying wolf?

Not actually thinking of evacuating it that i know of but a story has appeared on MSNBC this evening hinting that if for any reason the supply craft fails to make a successful journey tomorrow, the inhabitants of the station will have to leave in an emergency escape ship. It could be some kind of preparation for it happening, or the powers covering their backs, pre-preparing a cover story if you will. I'm not saying that they are, just that it's a possibility. Will try and find the link for you...

Now if this is true (and I do mean if)... what should we be doing to prepare for it. Or is there absolutely no hope? Should we all go to a different part of the country/ out of the country? Bulid a bomb shelter? What?


Forgive me if I'm wrong... but wouldn't someone have developed a way to stop a thing like this by now? I know hitting it with a nuke would just break the thing up into many pieces, possibly making it worse than a full on hit. What if we hit it with like 10 nukes.. wouldn't that vaporize it or something????

There was something on here about a week ago. It was an article about "Asteroid Eaters" or something like that. I dunno if anyone else saw it.

Well im in the UK, the second impact will be in the deepest part of the Atlantic Ocean about 1000 kays off the NY coast. Im going to be with my family, we are going to try to prepare but we know its almost futile. Its a big double bricked foam cavity filled victorian house with new triple glazed windows and its on the top of a small hill. we are also in London which is away from the tsunami's path, hopefully the high natural cliffs 100/200 feet high that face towards the atlantic off the Cornish penisula 200 miles from where i live near London outskirts, may afford us some protection....

Truth is how can anything stop a wave nearly a kay high travelling a MACH 2?
