Wow, I just can't even comprehend the level of ignorance on display in that last post.

What reason would I have to fudge my statistics on beta blockers? I was a junior scientist making $30k a year. All my work entailed was verifying that the drug was still clinically relevant in a public health setting. No drug companies involved, just an R1 grant that I requested money for.

Can you explain how I faked my data and why I might do it?

Can you explain how published science is all "fake"?

If it's fake, you should probably just never go to a hospital again, right? I mean, all those treatments are a result of "published science". Also, you shouldn't buy foods from grocery stores, the preservation methods they use are a result of "published science", too.

Come to think of it, you should just toss the computer you're using out the window. All those circuits, transistors and capacitors? You guessed it. "Published science".

The majority of the people in the science community are dumb and single minded. They don't adapt to the new age thinking because they don't want to be proven wrong.

As far as you making up your data, it's because this is the internet and you can be whomever you want behind your screen. One must be VERY gullible to believe everything that they read online, and believe everything about a person and what they are saying.

That was really hard to watch. Training for a marathon, you figure she's healthy as a horse and has the immune system to go with it, just fight it naturally.
