At least now they are pulling it out of the ground and our companies got to supply the parts.

Geez, and it only cost 85,000 lives.
What a bargain.

Especially since it was only Iraqui lives; not American, -- oh, well, except for a couple thousand young Americans who didn't have jobs anyway.

It is hard to make sarcasm work online, we can't hear your tone of voice.
The oil companies don't care who dies, they just want cheap, good oil. Ours is full of water. The red color you see in gasoline is Iraqi blood. Many people from many nations have died in this contest for the world's last resources.

So out of curiosity have you actually looked into the history behind the Sunni's and Shi'ites conflict with each other? Specifically the length of time that they've been killing each other? If you had you'd realize that we are in no way responsible for their religious conflict today.

Should we have had everything planned out before we entered the country? Yep. Does that make us responsible for for a religious conflict that's been going on for over 1000 years? Nope.

Of course the US is directly responsible, thats obvious.. gw and his neo-clown lackeys removed the secular govt that was keeping the sectarian violence to a minimum. When those DC fools fired all the police & military it gave every feuding sect a green light to unleash 1000s of years of anger on each other in a lawless free for all.

WE CAUSED the violent free for all, there is no denying that.

vp dick said it best in 1994, if the us invaded iraq 'pieces would fly off' and iraq would become a "quagmire", why?, "Its a very volatile part of the world" said the mighty dick.. he knew what an utterly stupid idea it was to topple saddam, and did it anyway. Criminal negligence and felony stupid.

www.youtube.com...

What the US leaders have done in iraq is an on going disgrace to humanity.

The US govt has transparently lied about every major war, yet some people always fall for the latest "killing in the name of: (__insert_propaganda here__)"

Not one red blooded US man with an ounce of testicular fortitude and the ability to fight would allow any nation to do to the USA, what the USA has done to iraq.

The advancing occupation forces could blather their politicians reasons for ruining the lives of MILLIONS of my brother & sister citizens, while turning my neighborhood into an apocalyptic human sewer of misery and death.. would I care? would you? eh?, would you listen to one word spoken by invaders who murdered your friends and family? or would you man up and get some?

To think iraqis are that much different that we are is only advertising total ignorance... they are a proud people with 1000s of years of culture who are not about to be lectured about how they should live by violent infidels.

And how was Saddam keeping them in line?

Why, by killing them!
