Let me first introduce the basic principles of this topic. Like many on ATS, I feel it is important to try and understand the inner workings of the
world. I ask the question 'why?' and find the answer to be unbelievable. I struggle, in my own life, to peel back the layers of conditioning and
brainwashing. It only seems unbelievable to the part of me that tries to hold on to the lie as if it were true.
In this thread, I use 'the master' as a basic identification of the ruling class. The NWO, power elite, Illuminati, or whoever they actually are is
irrelevant to the first step of freeing oneself from the grasp of their will. First, one must identify the methods used to keep you stupid. How are we
subjugated by our masters?
Money
I do not think it is necessary to go too far into depth on this subject as most can imagine the scope that control of large amounts of money and its
creation has greatly subjugated people for generations. This topic has been discussed thoroughly on the forum. Lobbyists, taxation, etc.
Words
'They' control the words. If it is possible to control the meaning of words and emotions attached to them, it is possible to control the discussion
and ultimately the future of our world, as well as written history.
Words like 'terror' or '9/11' invoke emotions and meanings that have been manipulated, or completely added to the words, to further the agenda of
our ruling class. 'Terror' is a term used to get us into a global war on whatever or whoever we want. The ever looming threat
of terror presents the public with enough emotionally charged language to agree to send our men and women to die for nothing.
Another very dangerous word is 'we'. When one says something like 'we went to war with Iran today' one is showing symptoms of Stockholm Syndrome.
Not only is it an ambiguous collective (which I use often as anyone else I italisized the words), but a subconscious connection of the actions of the
ruling elite with actions voluntarily done by the subject. So now the subject has a deeper connection, and affection with and of the master. 'We'
did not go to war. Our rulers decided to use military force against another country's military and even innocent people.
Another terrible connection made is the connection of the people of the country or territory with the rulers of that territory.
Media is another method of control
Control the flow of information, control the world. It is preaching to the choir to harp on about the MSM and its sickening message so I shall avoid
it. Media is all ways that people communicate or transfer ideas. The Internet, like the printing press, is revolutionary to the transfer of
information. It won't be long before this too is controlled by the elite. I believe just recently that the FCC is taking the reigns on an Internet
oversight-type role.
This is dangerous. Humanity found a way to cheaply communicate and duplicate messages infinitely, and the elite see this as a threat. Even the media
sees this a threat with their 'war on blogs' mentality.
The control of money, words, and the transferring of those words is vital for the elite to maintain power. They fear us, so they destroy the only
methods we have of enlightenment. God help us.

You have a point.
But some people are brain-washed easily, and for others it's difficult. Some people watch the news like zombies, while others watch it and analyze
it to see how the media is attempting to brain-wash the masses.
As long as they've brain-washed 60% of the people, it's considered successful. For example, in the 2008 elections many thought that Obama was
brain-washing people to vote for him, or that McCain was the only hope to avoid Socialism, or whatever. I think the real brain-washing last year was
nobody noticing that out of 300 million Americans the best 2 choices for president they give you is Obama & McCain, who are both in the pockets of the
corporations! Come on now! They had people fighting over Republican & Democrat when both individual representatives were bad. That is successful
brain-washing.

They brain wash those without the ability to fight the conditioning and try to disenfranchise those that can resist the brainwashing.
Most people on ATS are resisting brainwashing, but they are being disenfranchised and rendered impotent. Do we want change or do we just want
to talk about it all the time. I actively want change and try to enlighten those around me, but I constantly feel powerless and find myself hiding my
views.
