ok i think this belongs here... if not please move/remove/delete.

wow my second BTS posting and ive been a member for almost 2 years now.

Alrighty guys, i have a question, what color are these eyes?

yes these are mine, but id like to know what color they are.

I have gotten, green, brown, hazel when i ask this question, but id like a definite answer instead of varying colors.

whats weird about my eyes are that in the sunlight they sometimes turn golden brown, sometimes they turn into pure green, and sometimes Grey. (how does this happen *sub question*)

is it magic or just me? /inserts sarcasm here

Hazel, I think. That's a mixture of eye colors.

that's one for hazel,

thanks for the reply. Ive been confused because they change colors frequently.

i thought hazel was a mix of green/brown, (like mine above) but they change in the light.

where would these eyes be dominant? (geographical area?)

Definitely hazel by definition.

Hazel eyes often appear to shift in color from a light brown to a dark golden-green. A number of studies using three-point scales have assigned hazel to be the medium-color between the lightest shade of blue and darkest shade of brown. Hazel mostly consists of Brown and Green. The dominant color in the eye can either be green or light brown/gold. This can sometimes produce a multicolored iris, i.e., an eye that is light brown near the pupil and charcoal or amber/dark green on the outer part of the iris (and vice versa) when observed in sunlight. Hazel is commonly found in Europe, the Middle East, Americas, Central Asia, and parts of South Asia.

My sisters eyes are near identical to your eyes, mine are blue with a real slight bit of brown so a little similar.

You have sunflowers in your eyes!
I noticed it straight away because my husbands eyes are almost the same except his appear more green around the edges.

For those who can't see it...The pupil is the flower bud and is surrounded by yellow petals in the iris.

Mine have changed over the years.
They vary from blue to green.
Some of the color changes may be due to diet as well.
The odd trait is that I have 20/10 vision.
Every one in my family needs glasses as they get old but me.

My eye colour's hazel but usually they're green under certain lighting conditions or if I get pretty angry.

Mine do that, with extreme emotion, they go bright green.
Otherwise, they are blue, with a green ring right around the pupil...

Officially, they are blue (on my license, for example)...
