Something incredible may have been discovered by the Ghostfinder Paranormal Society, a UK based paranormal investigative team.

VSP's, or Visual Spectral Phenomena, are images that appear to have been created in the recording of EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomena).

V.S.P (Visual Spectral Phenomena) © is a new breakthrough in the field of paranormal research that G.P.S Ghostfinder Paranormal Society has been developing since May 2009. G.P.S Audio Analyst Manager John West first identified this phenomenon after analysing several EVP's that were captured on recent paranormal investigations this year. It appears that EVP's are not just captured as sound waves, but also visually within the spectrum of light. This study into what we have termed VSP is a breakthrough in the field of Para-science, and G.P.S is hard at work pioneering this research to further develop the technique and hopefully bring to light some answers to the many questions that have surrounded the technique of capturing disembodied sounds on voice recorders.

It is very interesting and seems to point towards many paranormal happenings occuring in a frequency range of some description. This discovery may also lead towards new technology that enables us to detect and record in far greater detail than ever before which will lead us to a deeper understanding of the realm of the spirits that seem to surround us.

Will be interesting to see what else they can find in many of the thousands of EVP's ever caught.

It could turn out that there will be a varying degree of results, just as there are varying levels of paranormal events. Some recordings will show very little yet others may reveal quite a lot.

we're aware of the suggested requirement of energy for spirits to manifest, move objects or make sounds, so maybe the EVP is one of the weakest signals, VSP's could be the next level.
