Does anyone know when LHC is going to be back up and running?? Also what are they going to try to accomplish?? Like i hardly doubt they will ever find the higgs-boson.

Sometime next month. But not at full power. We have a while longer wait until they run it at full power.

Don't be a pessimist. Look forward to discoveries about physics! We will find the Higgs boson.

It was once proclaimed with absolute certainty that the human race will never know the composition of a star. Now we have a spectrometer.

The elusive can always be found.

It was supposed to restart last month, however the plans were ceased.
Not much said on the CERN front, but it may pay for a further look...
