I couldn't find a discussion on this so please forgive me and point out if there are previous discussions on the subject.

Even if this were filmed in a studio or parking garage in Saudi Arabia, why isn't there a time delay between the CNN headquarters in Atlanta, GA and the reporter in Saudi Arabia? Watch any news show today and any time there's an actual live conversation happening you'll have an awkward pause after the news anchor finishes the question. That's because the reporter has to have the signal relayed across the world to them.

Of course there are many other ridiculous things happening. One reporter puts on a helmet and the other a gas mask, which he takes off after 10 seconds? Just plain stupid. At the very least this is exaggerated and over dramatized.

Much of the same footage. The first part is the shots in the studio or whatever they're in. Second half of this is where the pieced it together to display it to the American public. It doesn't look like these guys are actually worried about incoming missiles.
