9/11 truther harrassed by phone calls... details inside

OK, first and foremost, i don't know if this belongs here. (MODS PLEASE MOVE/REMOVE, thanks!)

this story deals with a truther named "Glenn" who has been with the truth movement since it became a movement. I bumped into him today at grove street path station in jersey city to help pass out pamphlets and engage people regarding the 9/11 topic. during the course of handing out pamphlets, and such, he got a phone call, first one was this one below.

Back to the first call, the first call was on speaker, him and a few others (including me) heard this deep male voice, it sounded like they were using a voice changing device or something of that sort. he was threatening him basically.

second phone call, was a female voice, saying she met him at so and so bar up the street and that they did some illegal stuff. IRONICALLY the phone number that was used was 202-600-6078. this was only ONE NUMBER off of his cell phone number. i wont tell you which number it was, (because i don't think its allowed here on ATS)

I think that he is being stalked by these people, and that they are just trying to scare him away from the truth movement.

I also think this was some freaky stuff. i was there, and had a hard time believing it. i just thought if i got a few pics, and video of his story, id let you guys take a swing at it. (BTW, my camera mysteriously failed to operate when trying to capture the convo on film...)

this only happened to him once before last year.

So, conspirators, what is your take on this?

what happened was ridiculous. who harasses people especially when the harassment only happens when this guy meets up with other truthers to help pass out pamphlets?

i think that the PTB are getting worried and are trying to derail anything that threatens their agenda.

yea im a bit freaked out by those 2 calls.

it sounds like your friend is being messed with-do you know what the first caller said exactly, how was he threatened? It's all pretty creepy if you ask me. It's good that he is making noise about it and not letting it intimidate him.

I used to live by the Journal square station years ago.

In 93 right after the first wtc bombing I went grocery shopping at the A&P over by the station, and the blind sheik was there, not at the A&P, but in an office above the store-there was a news crew there and people were kind of looking up and pointing, this was after a few days of the MSM putting the blame on his followers for the attack. It was pretty surreal to see a guy like that just standing around in front of a window in Jersey City. Something about it felt "staged".

Pilot, the convo will be kept mum until he files a complaint with the phone company. when that happens ill have a mod include it in the thread.

I don't think it was someone he knows, he feels that his phone is being tapped or something. they were mentioning things that were personal.

but anywho, ill keep you guys update on this as information comes back to me.

That phone call can come from anybody...

Jailbroken Iphones can download an App called "Caller ID Faker"

I can call anybody with any phone number I want. (yes even the White House Switchboard Number)

It can also mask the voice (male or female) within the app to make that call.

well it can be easily done by anyone which is understandable, but, irony is to him, on that date at that time.

i dunno, they also blocked him from getting his bill to prove that this happened last year, but we got evidence somethings going on. ill let his phone company do an investigation, so if anything comes up ill definitely keep it posted here.

How exactly are you blocked from getting/seeing your own phone bill?I mean, it is his bill, so how is he unable to go back and request a record/copy of that particular bill? I wonder, did the bill that he pay the bill that he was blocked from getting? If so how did he know how much to pay with out seeing the bill?

With all due respect, that part there does seem a bit fishy... If you will.

It just happened today, so i will have to get back to you tomorrow, on that one.

But may i add, i heard him say he filed a police report on it. its in the video. He stated it at 1:10.

Ill see if i can check out if there is any legit documentation regarding the complaints tomorrow.

For some reason the second phone call stands out in my mind. I'd like to know how much time passed between the first and second calls?

The fact that the second caller revealed knowledge of the "victim's" recent activities and the fact that the victim didn't mention that the callers knowledge was wrong, makes me think that the guy is probably being watched and possibly about to be set up for something.

He should not only feel violated, paranoid and afraid, but he should also feel the need to document every move he makes for the near-term as well as keeping at least one person near him at all times for verification of an alibi should one become necessary. JIC is much, much better than SOL, IMHO.

If I got calls like that I would probably stop whatever I was doing at least for the time being, until I could figure out who was doing the calls. The fact that he can't get the phone company to verify or even investigate to a proper conclusion, where the calls originated from makes me even more suspicious.

People that stand on a street corner saying the governemnt is evil is not a big deal to them. Glenn Zarmanov is not a name that anyone knows.

I googled the number the OP posted. This brought me to two links. One here at ATS and one to a blog called "The Crotch Shot Radio Show." At the crotch rot radio show, Mr. Zarmanov posted his real number asking that if anyone had any information, they are to call him.

So, I googled his Cell number. It brought two additional sites where he posted his personal cell number.

My opinion? Someone got his number off one of the several places he posted it, or his friends who know he is a wee bit paranoid, are pulling his leg. Either way, he should be more careful when posting his personal infomation on the internet.

I think what he's saying is that the dude was blocked from seeing incoming calls.

Mine doesn't show who called, nor who I called. Just how many minutes were used. Guess it might depend on the plan.

Man government stalkers are all the rage. If i was him though, do not do what i did and stay away from it all, as this makes them worse.

He will just have to keep going and keep ignoring it, nothing more he can do. But remember they can get anyone to make up stuff, so be careful. You never need to do anything in this world, as my life proved. they just get anyone to say anything.

My thoughts? I donno the situation of the man in the video, but should he be a serious 9/11 truther then I would full on expect harassment. I have incurred harassment in my own life; so to believe for myself isn't that difficult.

I live a great deal of the year in Central America, and ATS is not the only platform I use in exercising my Natural Right to speak out. Due to what has been occurring in my own life, I have added 24 hour armed security; it's not as wild, or expensive as the idea sounds, but I feel it is necessary.

I would have to wonder how many other People have run into harassment, or short of threats?

Good grief, why does every flipping thing from crank phone calls to stubbing your toe on a rock in your back yard just have to be some secret gov't plot? It's obvious that his pushing out these 9/11 conspiracy stories put him on the radar of some jerk who thinks there's something positive about harassing him. The caller isn't doing it becuase he's a disinformation agent. He's doing it becuase he thinks these 9/11 conspiracy stories are thoroughly disgusting. Personally, I think it's really really stupid to be harassing him like this becuse it's only feeding this guy's paranoia that the gov't is plotting to kill us all. We see right away that the guy's knee jerk reaction is that he thinks it's a gov't counter intelligence operation.

Did it ever occur to you that if this were a REAL gov't plot, it wouldn't be any of this 13 year old adolescent nonsense like crank phone calls? It would be a gov't spook with a silencer who'd be visiting him. I said it before and I'll say it again- you don't have to go looking in the shadows for signs of secret gov't dictatorships. Dictatorships are always blatant, and they'll come looking for you.

I think the man in the video is an actor. And look at the start of it, where it jumps. It's clearly doctored in some way.

Not an actor, i recorded him in my main video on the page. it was after the street action truthers from every state meet up, and engage the town folk.

his video however i didint record, but what he states is true, i witnessed his harassed phone call, and the look of shock on his face. its 100% legit.

The scams just get more and more sophmoric. Heh.

So this dude posts his freakin' phone number on several internet sites including facebook (exactly where a bunch of his other personal info is -I bet)

Then he gets freaked out because he is getting crank calls from a stranger.

Then has some narcissistic diatribe 'bout how he is so freakin important to the workings of this world that this injustice must be documented on youtube-- WHICH segues right into a follow-up piece highlighting the hackeneyed COINTELPRO and MK-ULTRA fear-mongering schtick.. BWAHAHAH!

Crap, why not just walk around Bronx allyways at night with wads of cash hanging out of your pockets.

Then wonder why you got smaked in the head with a friggin crowbar.
