I'm sure many here know that it's always about money, power, control, etc. . . . and that "they" really don't care.

Climate Change = money, power, control, etc... for example.

Now the Medical Field is BIG business, if not THE biggest business. It's full of money, power, and control. I'll give one example of how Natural Medicine is being ignored.

Eating Clay!

It might sound crazy, but eating high-quality clay is very healthy and detoxifying. Only those who are in-depth into Natural Medicine know about it. What does the mainstream media say about eating clay?

www.msnbc.msn.com...

"Haiti’s poor resort to eating mud as prices rise"

This is a double, if not triple-edged sword! First of all, clay-cookies are a traditional food in Haiti. The wealthy eat it too. It's good for children especially, since it stops diarrhea and kills parasites. It's good for the unborn if pregnant women eat it. Only recently have modern Medical (Rockafeller-funded) Doctors been telling the Haitians that it's bad for them.

So, they are convincing Americans and Haitians that eating clay is absolutely ridiculous. They make it seem like only a starving person would be insane enough to eat clay. The fact is, good-quality clay is healthy for almost anyone.

Wild animals are often found eating clay. Birds, elephants, and many other animals in the wild desperately search out and seek to consume clay, to detoxify the natural toxins in the diet. How much more do we have these toxins that we desperately need to detoxify from?

Because of the ignorance of the mainstream media, the typical American will laugh at the idea of eating clay! Try it; mention it to somebody. Only a Natural Medicine health-freak will defend eating clay. Most people would give a disgusting look, think you are crazy, or say something like, "I heard about how poor Haitians are, and they're eating dirt cookies. How sad!"

No, what is sad is that the fat-toxin-filled Americans are too close-minded to even consider eating clay, when they're the ones who need it the most.

Eating clay is just one example of many Natural Medicine cures. Maybe I'll have more threads on other cures if this topic interests anyone.

Yes, I would love to hear more. I had never heard of the clay eating before. Very interesting.

You can google "bentonite clay" and find lots of sites like this:
www.healingdaily.com...

There are also books available on clay, or that mention clay.

If you are interested in studying wild animals who use Natural Medicine, I could suggest "Wild Health" as an interesting book. There is a chapter or two on clay in it.

Excellent thread. If only more people would discover natural remedies and stop going to the drug stores and large chemists to stock up on so much garbage that is toxic, and save their money and health. S&F.

Reply to poster re Zeolite, Yes, it is one adsorption system. Another method is Activated charcoal. I guess the Zeolite would be the easiest method.

Animals, including humans, primitive & modern, native tribes from all over the world, wild animals all over the world, educated people, those who have scientifically studied clay, all eat clay for health, and have been for thousands, if not millions of years. Is that misinformation?

So, go eat your FDA-regulated McDonald's, and FDA-regulated high-fructose corn-syrup, and use FDA-regulated products.

I'll stick to my natural soap, natural food, and natural clay.

Nature knows best.

You are obviously very concerned. Let me just reassure you that the Op said "good quality clay", advised and gave links for further information on this subject. Since I cannot find any reference to essential oils mentioned by the op I wonder about your reference to complimentary medicine when the op was addressing dietary (mineral) suppliments.

With regard to synthetics, Most pills provided by doctors/pharma are synthesized. Thats why you get side effects. Hopefully your friend will consult a reputable health food store/outlet/ qualified Clinical Aromatherapist for their essential oils in future!

I read somewhere when I was younger that children who eat dirt are lacking vitamins and minerals from their diets and the dirt is a way of supplementing...kinda funny. T

hen when I was older and suffered severe anemia due to internal bleeding, I craved dirt! Imagine that! A grown woman craving dirt. But what my body was doing was telling me it was in dire need of iron.

Anemic women also tend to eat ice chips for some odd reason...I sure did.

Yes, I have always heard this too. And it seems to be instinctive. I was very poor as a child and ate dirt...don't know if it was clay based. I can also remember my Mom eating ice all the time when she was pregnant and probably anemic as she never saw a Dr. till it was time to deliver.

Sometimes your body knows best but as we get older we are indoctrinated and no longer follow our instincts.

I can see how one could get in trouble with out correct info now since we tend to think before we act.
