I have had a horrible time trying to get rid of a virus.

Who could even imagine sending a virus? OK, evil or mentally ill people.

If thats the worst someone has done to you, you have had a pretty good life.

Yep virus senders are a pain, and most of us had at least one problem with bad ones.

So many humans want to ruin others

I work with Computers, I own a computer repair shop. some of these bugs can be broken into... by changing the 3 letter extensions. I have seen a few that are Bethoven Class Code... what that means is the code sings... when your programing code sings is the pinnicle of programing. where the errors in the code are well non-existant... this class of programmer reaps rewards in excess of $250K a year.

now tell which Dumb Ass is gonna risk $250K a year Job... to write a Virus.

???????????????????? hummm ..........

If johnny released a virus name Melissa - the FBI had Johnny in less than 4 hours... I see the same bugs on the same servers for years.... and those servers are within the USA... go figure.... 1 + 1 = 96

I've always thought of people who create/spread viruses as technological "mad scientists".

By the way, why is this in the Predictions & Prophecies section? I predict that your new virus buddy will cause you to format your computer out of frustration.

That used to be the 'good'? old days. Now they can just get a virus making app, click what they want it to do, and assemble the code. No real knowledge of programming is necessary.

I explain to users:
You won't see them in the park with their dog -
no dog will go near them & they don't know where a park is.
You won't see them at the bowling alley with their girlfriend -
no girlfriend & they don't know how to bowl.

I have the skills to do what they do.
I have a wife, daughter, dog, mortgage, yard (and boy has it been raining)
I help cook, clean, do laundry, work 40+ hours a week
I have a life - some people don't

The problem is that the viruses are created by the anti virus companies and usually come with those programs.

Its more blessed to give a virus than receive one so to speak. I don't enjoy getting one at all.:shk:

People who CREATE viruses should be given the death penalty. I'd vote for it. I'll even settle for life in prison. Most senders do so unknowingly. It's the CREATORS that need to die.

Eventually, it's likely going to happen, as they create more and more damage. It's invasive and steals money and time. If someone breaks into my home, I can kill them. A virus invades right through my walls as well, and that invasion should be dealt with very severely.

Even better, get a good anti virus and fire wall.

Hint: Those very popular and big AV and firewall software providers aren't always better
(because they are also popular targets of virus makers and sometimes they are so complex, they can be a source of nuisance than convenience)
