Yep, hope it's a huge success! I just checked, the clouds are parting but the moon is still well out of view and it will definitely be too light here at 7:30. Glad they've got the coverage.

I have a 5 1/2 inch telescope, about half the diameter they recommend for viewing the impact. It's dawn here anyway and cloudy.

What time will it impact on the lunar surface?
I live in the Scandinavia area. So not sure I will be able to see it in a telescope though, but anyone aware of any sites that follow this except NASA?

Hope someone with a 100mm lens (atleast) with a cam are able to film the impact. Would be cool to be able to see it.
