this Sunday I took the family to the Albuquerque Balloon fiesta
As you can see in the first photo the day started off cloudy and unsettled...


the weather only got worse and all the pilots scrambled to get out of the air... that's not a dirty windsheld BTW those are windbands


Pretty cool...glad I wasnt flying that day...

That must be one of those pond ring clouds.

At least that's what the weather "experts" will tell you.

What concerns me is, we have become so accustomed to these unnatural weather phenomenon, that threads like this don't even get any attention.

Very effective brain washing.
