It's difficult to imagine that beam came from a C-130!! - I would love to see what it would do to an engine block...

I also have the feeling that is just a taste of the power available in these lasers - see how the beam is invisible? - Just imagine the terror that would cause, especially if your leader suddenly has a burning hole through his chest while giving the war cry! - it would be silent and invisible - that would mess with any ones head...

Sooner or later these things are probably gonna be small enough to fit on a UAV - if they are not already.

That could easily be a lump of potassium on the bonnet.

It sure burns like it. Although i'm no expert.

If it's an infrared laser, the beam would be at a wavelength that you can't see with the naked eye.

It took that long to burn through a truck hood, and they want to take out tanks with this thing? I feel let down.
