I'm not talking about a particular Canadian politician, party or government -- in the U.S., Republican and Democrats are just two sides of the same coin (except for the occasional rarity like Ron Paul.)

I'm asking because I've rarely, if ever heard of the Canadian government murdering their own presidents and civil rights leaders (JFK, RFK, MLK), conducting false-flag terrorist attacks against it's own citizens (Operation Northwoods, USS Liberty, Waco, Oklahoma City, 9/11, etc.,) overthrowing democratically-elected governments and installing murderous dictatorships (too numerous to mention), or starting phony wars on behalf of "democracy" (Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc.)

Why do Canadian governments seem to represent their people so much better than the U.S? All we seem to get is massive lies, corruption and a government that's run by banksters and globalist corporations.

If your asking do we allow the same type of cruelty happen to our people by poisoning with food and a bad education system? yes. but our laws aren't as...religious or personal opinion based, mind you not, Canada is still Rothschild territory. Anything can happen when it comes to corruption, its just the timing needed.

Well, speaking of poisoning food and water, didn't the Canadian government order BPA removed from plastics last year? (baby bottles, food containers, etc.) while the FDA basically said, "problem, what problem?"

The U.S. is only 1 of 2 countries in the world that allows direct-to-consumer Big Pharma advertising (ask your doctor, is the purple pill right for you?)

The U.S. is also founder of aspartame (thanks to Rumsfeld and Searle Pharmaceuticals), GMO foods (Monsanto), factory-farmed meats full of growth hormones and antibiotics, and probably chemtrails.

And no country in the world poisons more of it's water with fluoride than the U.S. At least the people in Vancouver are educated enough to understand that.

The "evil" follows the money.

While Canada has had scandals and seen crooks in government, it's no where near America for the simple reason that there isn't as much money to make in doing it. You don't get billions going into lobbying and buying out representatives with campaign money because there's not as much to gain.

Good question. The difference is the complacency in our voters. We have a provincial gov't in Ont. that basically said, "Yes, this is a tax grab". And they got voted back in. Beware when your gov't doesn't even bother to lie to you anymore. :shk:

its the same turd pile just a different odor
there really isnt much difference at all between Canada and the states
all though we like to both think that there is
people in the states speak up for themselves more often especially the older people
Canadians will take allot more abuse and not stand up for themselves
your government doesn't listen to you
Canada's government likes to think we dont even exist
both governments rarely ever do anything use full
politicians in the states think there movie stars
in Canada there are no movie stars
The banks run them both

another thing is Canada doesn't even have the population of California so although our country is huge its just a big empty void and everything here is like 1/100 of down there

I expect that the same puppeteers control the strings of Canada's government.

I think we're capable of our own brands of evil. We're perhaps not as flamboyant in the manner in which we show our evil side, but we're as capable.

Although we have always been touted as peacekeepers, that's not our current role in Afghanistan. We're involved in active combat. That's evil enough for me.

We learned today that the federal government is considering random breathalyzer tests to combat drunk driving even when there is no overt reason to believe that a driver is intoxicated. That's evil.

There have been threats in the past to pass bills that will be the stepping stones to limiting and controlling our access to nutritional supplements. That's less than saintly.

No point in going on.

I refuse to vote for any of our mainstream parties. Come election time, I simply scrawl "No NAU" on my ballot and leave it at that.

i would say there are SOME canadian politicians who still politic for altruistic reasons, and i would say that canadian politicians are more responsive (afraid) of the will of the people, and i would also say that canadians in general are less self-serving, because we are more of a socialist country, and generally more concerned with equality and human rights.
we didn't have a kent state, or JFK.
it really is a different country. priding itself on peacekeeping over military might, charity more than profit, and tolerance over conformity.
it's not perfect (still lots of back room deals and government corruption, and corrupt police forces), but i like it a lot better than the mighty giant next door (although i do like americans as individuals! ). it's like america lite.

the simple fact of the matter is both countries governments are way out of control

i honestly think there are just to many rules about everything
do we really need so many rules forced on us
you would think were still living in the wild west and there trying to tame us
there is way to much government and special interest groups controling everything
our politicians probably went to the same schools and hung out with the same "in" crowd
they go about things differently but there end goals are the same

in fact i think they use both country's as experiments with what they can get away with and how quickly they can do it

You make it sound like there's a ~real~ choice. As much as some would like to believe that, the simple fact is there are no viable options. The majority of voters are knuckle dragging idiots, plain and simple. They vote, they get disgusted with the results and ping-pong over to the opposition. In a few years it all goes full circle with little to no positive results. This is the reason I have not and probably never will vote. Remember no matter how hard you try you cannot polish a turd, and that is the essence of politicians.

We have a good health care system, and say what you want about the banks...they remained stable because then PM Paul Martin insisted they remain so. If they had have tried that sub-prime crap up here...they'd have gone to jail.

And our present government wants to be as evil as yours...but they can't get a majority government so they have to play relatively nice.

Steve is a right wing born-again. We won't let him have all the marbles.

It comes down to population. All of Canada's population is still less than that of California alone. Most of us don't own guns, so they play pretend politics, we pretend we care and life goes on. For the most part it's not all that bad and we're at least taken care of medically.

Historically, we have been the peace keeper so going out and starting a war ourselves would be fishy. But essentially we are now an outpost of the US. Your economy goes to #, ours pretty much follows so for the most part the # doesn't need to take place here to share the consequences. Look we got troops "keeping the peace" in Afghanistan. You guys were attacked.

The US is the first domino, we are the second followed closely by Mexico in 3rd. Why would it make sense to topple the second domino?

The way they mess with our food here in the US is abhorrent. Other countries don't even want our cheese, for one example - for the exact reason you mentioned (too full of antibiotics). So we get cheese imported from other countries but they'll take a pass on us importing our cheese to them. But even though other countries say "no way" to our food, we get to eat it. Nice!

PNAC??? = TPTB? Never heard of that before.

Personally I don't believe it was terrorists that attack and if it was then the government let it happen.

IMO, 9/11 was the US' Reichstag Fire.

to say our banks are any better is ridiculous
and any respect for paul martin in any capacity is misplaced
paul martin actually moved his company out of canada when they told him to pay taxes
paul martin was involved in one of Canada's biggest scandals in Quebec
when asked paul martin could not even explain the banking system and he was Canadas money guy for years don't know the official title and hes not worth the Google
