A review.......My one and Only

I went to see this film because I was in it as an extra/driver and wanted to see myself on the big screen. I was disappointed. The two scenes that I was in, I was just a grey spot in an old green chevy PU. I still very much enjoy making movies even as a lowly background extra and I can use the $150 a day when they use my car or PU.

"My One and Only" was a show case for Renee Zellweger. My criteria for judging any film is if I can relate to, empathize and care about the actors playing the various parts. In this film Ms. Z stole my heart.

MO&O was a very well crafted period piece [1953] with great sets, set dec and locations. Great directon, good script, supporting cast. Probably not Oscar material but a great way to spend a couple of hours.
