Blackmailing countries to support it, opposing countries that have different view points, and making sure that everyone is like it... (to mention a
You say: France
I say: USA
You get so mad when a country acts just like the US has and you condemn it, when all it was doing was following its role model. Its like supporting an
alchoholic dad beating a child that was caught drinking.
The US is so hypocritical, it welcomes diversity and difference of opinion (in theory), but when a country becomes communist, or socialist you beat it
down (or at least try to, good morning vietnam!). You force underdeveloped nations into a state of capitalism that has taken centuries of development
to create. You force democracy on cultures that have never experienced anything but a king. And then you bomb them when they fall apart. How about
the US accepts other coutries differences and lives in peace.
The American public needs an enemy, without one they begin to question the government and who knows what could happen then.
First we had the brits and when they became our friends, we started to question the motives of the people up north, our own countrymen, and that led
to the most blood shed at one time on this continent.
When we became friends, the north and the south, we focused on the indian, who by some quirk of fate had been living on what was rightfully our land
for thousands of years. Then we forced the ones we hadnt butchered onto postage stamps of land and were happy.
At least until the workers started getting restless, listening to the corrupting influence of Marx, so we had to go to war, on a different continent,
that didnt even involve us, to fight a bunch of krauts. So we won that and we were happy, it was a great time, everyone was happy, until we banned
alchohol and people lost all of their money.
So we allowed the japs to bomb us, so we could get indignant and fight TWO enemies AT THE SAME TIME. Well we won that, by bombing the living crap out
of a bunch of squinties (who cares). So heady from this military-industrial complex, we needed another fix, fast.
And who happens along but our freindly neighborhood commie, who of course was a threat to world peace (with all of those nukes that they would never
use out of fear of retaliation), unlike, oh say... us
, who built thousands of nukes "for world peace." Well we had to spend the lives of
hundreds of thousands of innocent young American men and
women to stop the spread of these horrible commies (which was, inncidentally,
pointless). Then the soviets fell and what were left with (all of those friendly neighboorhood commies actually in your suburb),
But, hmmmm.... how about a ruthless despot, who incidentally sits on a fortune of oil, yay!!! Now we'll have happy patriots who incidentally have
plenty of fuel for their cars. Well we didn't manage to topple him, but hey trouble in the balkans. more wars to engage in, along the way we managed
to pick up thousands of jihad warriors happily blowing up embassies. Well then they hijacked a couple of airplanes and blew up some buildings, to up
your ratings amid environmental devastation, a failing economy and poor ratings, among other things.
Then as people are losing patriotism amid corporate scandals and rising gas prices, old standby... (drumroll please) Hussein! to heal those gas prices
and to garner support there is nothing better.
So there you have it, Americas history, and incidentally, their miltary history. (and lots of incidentallies)
p.s. yet another rant, one day I'll compile them into an anthology and publish them.
