I have the feeling it's a form of a “visual” sleep start.

That's interesting Pauligirl. Thanks for sending the link for me to check out. This may be the thing. I just need to figure out if this happnes when the person is awake. To be honest, it happens so fast that I'm not one hundred percent sure whether I'm a wake before it happens or it wakes me up.
