There's a boogie in the closet
But it's not real you see
It's just a game I like to play
The boogie is really me

I make a very ugly face
And show my fangs and claws
I breathe real deep and scary
And growl with hungry jaws

My brother hates the boogie
He hates it very much
I say "I'm going to eat you up,
And have you for my lunch!"

Then my brother always crys
He runs and tells our dad
Daddy always spanks me
And says that Ive been bad

Well I made the boogie go away
He won't be back Noooooooo more
But what my brother doesn't know
Is that there's a ghost behind the door.
