Wait! Didn't our Overseer say that he has saved or created over 4 million jobs? But back on topic, the job outlook IS really horrible. While not unemployed, yet, I have been looking for another job ( as to my recent disability filing) and for the most part any jobs out there that doesn't require lots of experience as well as certifications and 4+years of college are pretty much snapping up high school and college aged people because of the pay gap they can get away with. This is here in FLA, being a right to work state.

It's always a shock to these scumbags, isn't it?

Lets see how much a shock it is to them when they end up getting fired and are unable to find another paper pushing job.

My question is, did they have the proper records keeping ability to really know the unemployment rate in 1933. Computers had not yet been invented, how did they keep track? Also, the real unemployment rate is actually a lot higher because there are a lot of people that aren't counted.

When you include people who are working crappy part time jobs because they can't find full time employment, the real figure is 17%.

That is a good estimate. I hear something around 15 to 17% as well. Since many people have fallen off the grid, the government is unable to track the actual amount of people who are unemployed. We can only count those who are on unemployment.

You will never know the real unemployment NUMBER, never !

Can you consider a 4 dollar / Hour job a job ?

No.

In many country they totaly erase millions of people from there report. ( europe, "urss", ... ). It is the same everywhere.

THe unemployment report is a LIE.

It is an information that as been build - in our culture / ideology , in order to catch our attention - in one direction.

But could you think just ONE minute about how works a society of human being ?

FOr instance , one question you should ask yourself :
If we replace "human works" with " robot works" - we get less human works ?

THEN WHAT ?

THEN W . H . A . T ? ( tf)

Should we all cry because there are less stupid and hard work ?

OR should we rethink our ideology ?

AND what 's the point ?

Well , our societys evoluting, and go faster and faster - do you know that are around five percent of farmer ? And 10 - 15 percent of worker ? ANd maybe 5% percent of let say "ingeneer" and 1% teacher /doctor ...

what should do the other people ?

And you must take into consideration that the work of "25" percent of the population is sufficient.

Do you think they must die ?

DO you think we must share the works ? Or is too absurd because of your "ideology" ?

bye

2,855,000

That is the number of people that the government considers have completely dropped out of the labor force compared to September 2008. That is 2.8 million people that they don't count towards the official unemployment figure.

Its funny that even with their crazy math, the unemployment rate keeps climbing anyway.

I am afraid that when push comes to shove, the omniscient one will put people to work by force. No welfare, no food stamps, no unemployment...just work!
Work that most will not want. Hard, dirty, back breaking work for subsistence pay. Call it the WPA program of the new millennium. Those promised; "shovel ready jobs".

The free enterprise system economy will never recover to a fully vibrant robust status again. We are headed for third world status. We are turning into a Socialist "Light" nation. Fascism will govern the New AmeriKa as dreamed up by the cabal of neo commies and radicals his ONEness has appointed to his inner circle.

A nation that prints Fiat money by the trillions of dollars, like we are, is going to go belly up. The monetizing of our debt assures it. We are the current Wiemar Republic.

The U.S.A. as we knew it even 20 years ago, is history. It isn't coming back.
The sinister redrawing of the political economic map, will benefit international corporatism...not made in America under the union label.

Obama used the unions to get elected. He will shaft them in return. Union labor is expensive. In the current climate of permanent down sizing, with the loss of millions of jobs forever, union labor is a dinosaur, due for extinction.

Obawan wants to be a Dictator, for life. Look at the men he is courting, and his past affiliations. I think he sees, The Glorious Nation of Obamistan in his mind.

We gave up our nation long ago in the pursuit of living like royalty when we couldn't afford it. The cash strapped society drove itself into insolvency via grandiose dreams supported by plastic. Even union wages could not keep up.

There is a redistribution of wealth alright. It is being spread around within the inner circles of the Multi National Bankers, International Stock Holder/Owners, and the corrupt crony network of Washington.

The person working for hourly wages, will not recover. Even a four/six year degree will not guarantee that you make the big bucks. Those days are coming to a close. Soon enough, if you can secure a career position, anyplace on the globe, that allows you to afford a nice flat to live in, and a decent high end used car...you'll be one of the more fortunate.

I see many places in the USA becoming new Calcutta's, or worse.

( something I am starting to notice more and more, are the amount of homes in need of repairs and repainting. Yards are not being kept up, and people are watering their lawns less. The lack of money is really making itself noticeable. There are other signs as well.)

Yeah. I was watching CNN today and they were saying that the new unemployment numbers were surprising and indicated a "slowing of recovery".

And I had to laugh. What recovery?

[edit on 2/10/09 by Morbo the Annihilator]

Exactly,
They counted on the good little boys and girls watching their TV's that kept telling them - everything is getting better and everything will be ok.

It is no surprise to anyone except the public that bought into the re-assuring voices on the boob tube. Planned, planned, planned.
Despicable bastards.

The real unemployment figure in the U.S.A. is between 17% and 20% and the

figure that the government gives for the state of Michigan is 15.4% and

some counties in the state as high as 24.5%.

With obamanomics, the true socialist agenda, watch for unemployment to

rise even higher. When you take the attitude that government is better

expect things to get badder. ^Y^
