Thank you. The current crisis in my house now is that big brother ate all of little brothers cookies. My crisis kinda "pales" in contrast.

But I promised more cookies today.

And cookies everyday for the next 25 years, at least if not more.

I would be managing the biomedical team for the whole state of Alaska for the ANTHC. (Alaskan Native Tribal health Consortium)

Big job, nice pay. Living in Anchorage.

That would be awesome. Although how would I explain my percocet addiction to that?

I may spike my pepto with scotch, see how that tastes.

Impressive, not many people get the chance but just as important, not many people can do a role like that.

What a cliffhanger in a way huh?

Good luck

It's a shame it's it isn't as simple as smacking death in the chops and telling him to F off.

I have always imagined that if I found out I had a short time to live, I would feel more alive then I ever have.

I don't know if you're getting fed up with all the "good lucks" but here's another one: Good luck, I hope everything goes well for you.

I've thought long and hard about Karma recently. The best possible job I may get/worst possible news I may get.

Whatever god/gods are looking in, must be laughing their a##'s off right now.

That, is in part, why my attitude must stay positive, not only for me, but my family, my friends, and the people I may affect down the line.

Never. I look at them as cosmic "chips" on the poker table of life.

I am with you on the death thing. Why worry about that which you have no control over. And my grandfather always used to say "prepare for the worst and expect the best!" enthusiastically. I never put that into perspective until recently. Cary good life insurance and enjoy every damn minute. I hope the best for you and your family, and I hope you get your job. Alaska would be awesome. Everyone I know that went there wanted to stay. (military) No matter what happens, smile. Good luck.
