Not to say that the one photo doesn't look like that of a statue but as a little kid while i was sitting on the toilet i would stare at the linoleum
pattern and find all sorts of faces, figures, animals, cars, dinosaurs , you name it. I believe there have even been studies on how the human mind
wants to perceive faces in objects or shapes and again i will say that the one photo does look similar to that of a statue but by no means do i see
anything that would leave me to believe any of these items where not naturally occurring objects that someone with an over active imagination
distorted.
You can see things like that here on earth such as, The Old Man of the Mountain in New Hampshire, El Dedo de Dios aka “God’s Finger” in spain,
Eye of Needle in Montana ( lloks like a portal to another dimension to me ) Or how about natural bridge in ky , i was there last week and it sure
looks man made but its nothing more then erosion from water, on mars you have wind erosion and im sure one day they might discover/prove water erosion
took a part in the planets past. But blurry photos of rocks are nothing more then that , they fall very far from any proof in my opinion. Im sorry to
bust your chops on this but i think guys like Andrew D. Basiago actually do more harm then good. They are allmost as bad as the guy in a few threads
down saying the blurry photo of his dogs must have been caused by aliens and in no way could be a just a crappy photo.
You are describing "pareidolia" (The tendency to interpret a vague stimulus as something known to the viewer, such as interpreting marks on Mars as
canals or seeing shapes in clouds) a most interesting pasttime that most of us engage in with some individuals going over the edge and not realizing
that it's all in the head.
What hurts this thread is the claim that Andrew D. Basiago is a former child participant in a secret time travel project launched by the US Defense
Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and that he reports teleporting to Mars and meeting Martian extraterrestrials.
Come on!
About pareidolia, my apartment building's marble lobby is a gallery of images and one, particularly, resembles my wife! I kid you not. If I could
place photos on here I'd show you a few that'll blow your mind.
