Billionaire EU campaigner 'paid' Tony Blair
From The Sunday Times
October 11, 2009
Tony Blair, the favourite to become Europe’s first president, is believed to have accepted tens of thousands of pounds from a steel billionaire
campaigning for Ukraine to join the European Union.
Victor Pinchuk, who is championing the country’s bid for EU membership, has already hired Stephen Byers, the former Labour cabinet minister, to
press his case. He reportedly paid Blair to give a keynote speech in Ukraine.
Ukrainian diplomats are preparing to launch a membership bid as early as next year and consider Blair a key ally.
Several European countries support closer economic ties with Ukraine but have not directly backed a bid. Some, including Germany, are concerned that
closer links with Ukraine may jeopardise relations with Russia.
Blair’s commercial activities and links to key business figures such as Pinchuk will come under scrutiny in any campaign for the EU presidency. The
details of the role and contract of employment for the presidency are expected to be discussed by Gordon Brown and other leaders this month.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
I have always been able to see that this was the way that the world was going. That the EU would soon just be the EU as a state in its own right. I
did not however think it would happen this fast.
this has been the plan ever since tone and his crew were youngmen.
reforming the lords and wiping away 800 years worth of constitution was a drop in the ocean compared to this only ireland have
stalled the almost outright grab of control of europe and the u.n.
there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we are going to almost extinguish the muslim nations that are asset rich no matter
how much kicking and screaming the public produce its just going to happen in a divide and conquer fashion one after the other
as blair keeps europe aliegned with u.s. foriegn policy..
this has been planned and implemented over 2 decades or more
we may see more 911/77 events leading up to it to keep the sheep confused and worried .. but nothing can stop the enevitable.

After all these things people say there is no New World Order.
Within the last hundred years we have formed the united nations, European union and Euro, with a President to come, then same in america, currency is
already messed up and then comes the solution, global currency!
Were, pkd!

There is no such post as President of Europe, the treaty is still a long way from getting to that stage, and Tony Blair has never mentioned he has any
inclinations toward such a position.
All this has come about because David Cameron game an interview where he dropped it into the conversation, and when asked said that Tony Blair was
going to be President and urged people to fight it.
David Cameron is pissed off, because he cant get what he wants from the European Parliament, and so has started using this as propaganda for his own
purposes, he has made promises he can not keep, and even hinted at giving the British people the choice through a referendum, but again when quizzed
wont commit to that if they win an election, his excuse, he does not know what the situation is going to be if the Conservatives win the next
Election.
There are no reasonable Prime minister candidates in Britain right now, not from any party.
They are too busy fighting each other, rather than getting together to find a solution, which is their job, to serve us the people, they serve us not
the other way around, they seem to have forgotten that, and my bet is soon the ballot box for strikes is going to show them that.
If they do get in at the next Election, they are going to inherit a World of crap they can not imagine, every single country in Europe has the right
and will put forward a candidate for President should the position be created, so claiming what the OP has is unfounded, because it just is not true,
it's just talk.
Not saying in the future it cant happen, but right now, it's just politicians using words to stir the water to make it muddy, that alone tells me
Cameron is not Prime Minister material, last thing we need is a return to the days of Maggie Thatcher, she alone was like Hitler in drag, and she got
shown what we thought of her crap, the party has not changed a bit, different face, same policies.
