I'm trying to use the Homeland security pic from my pics on ATS
Its most likely that I have not studied up and figured out the best XXX x XXX resolution but either way I have tried to set this pic as my avatar and it just returns to the one I have now, is it a T&C or do I just need to edit the pic for proper size?

I think he was also asking a "how to" question as well.

Edit to add: After changing your avatar are you clicking on the submit tab at the bottom?

Looks good but if I were you I would crop the black bands off the left and right sides, and size the remaining part to 160 pixels wide, to make it easier to see. The avatar space is too small to waste it with those black bands that make the photo even smaller.
