If we had our guns, we would have fought a bloody battle. So, keep your guns, and buy more guns, and buy ammunition. [...] Take back America. Don’t let them take the country into Socialism. And I refer again, Hitler’s party was National Socialism. [...] And that’s what we are having here right now, which is bordering on Marxism.

Werthmann noted that her Nazism speech is gaining popularity. She not only has delivered it to several tea parties, but has been asked by “a group of bankers” to address them this month.

So far though, nothing big has actually happened. Perhaps all of these trash talking are indeed just that, trash talk It won't turn into some sort of 'domestic terrorism' or a revolt or whatever.. hopefully.

BTW, did she really attend any of those tea parties and give a speech? Group of bankers??

edit:I tweaked the thread tittle a little bit, so it'll fit. besides this is not breaking alternative news.

Socialism is not evil. Capitalism is not evil. Communism is not evil.

If you want evil, looks for those who deal in lead.

The BIG question is, is she in the pay of the FBI or CIA and trying to stir up trouble. Most of the rural gun toting types are very laid back - -"walk softly and carry a big stick" - - types. Hunters, ex soldiers KNOW what a gun can do and have no real desire to start a civil war. Hopefully all this hate crap will fall on deaf ears as it has so far.

It is real hard to stir up an incident when the people are aware that is what you are trying to do. The farm/country folk woke up after they tried to shove Animal ID down our throats. We had three years of government tactics training already

Very sad, but good in these day that this type of IGNORANCE is about to be seriously tested by the lord bullets & guns cannot compare to what lies beneath their feet (I DONT THINK GOD LIKES UGLY & [snip] HE WILL NOT TAKE).

explain please?

I buy lead sinkers at my local bait shop. Is Ralph the bait guy evil?

come to think of it, he does stare me down quite a bit, although I think its because he found me in bed with his daughter last month. Yea, our relationship has been a lil rocky since then.

So let me get this straight...

Right wingers are afraid that left wingers are gonna make the country more right wing?

Oh and instead of debating they are going to use guns?

Hmm...

I am so sick and tired of hearing about evil republicans, conservative nutjobs, right-wing extremists, etc.

This is yet one more example of the only successful strategy that has been accomplished by this administration to date:

Divide and Conquer.

If there is a riot in this country, and people begin to fight back, it will be because of the absolutely disgraceful way in which the US is currently being run.

Obama has been in office less than 10 months. Let's take a look at all of the history making markers that we now have:

Massive deficit, highest unemployment rate, highest numer of foreclosures coast - to -coast, a losing military offensive in Afganistan, 100,000+ troops still stationed in Iraq despite a promise to have all troops withdrawn by June 30th, 2009, banks that are running on more shaky assets than they were a year ago, 95+ failed banks so far this year, an H1N1 outbreak that is more likely a manufactured bio-weapon than not, National Guard training for administering the Swine flu vaccine, back pedaling on ultimatums: Iran, North Korea, Israel, 20+ czars now micro-managing everything from banks to cars to education with no notable improvements in any sector, and a "surge" of "purported" racism accomplishing nothing but inciting anger and hatred while deflecting attention away from actual issues.

Why is it that nobody seems to be willing to acknowledge that any of the above is reason enough to be angry? Why is it that instead of dealing with the above issues our President is jetting off to Copenhagen to bid for the 2016 Olympics?

More importantly, what do any of the above mentioned issues have to do with him being black?

If these people...like the once calling Obama a n----- are not racists like they try to insist...then why use the n word at all? And if her listeners are not racist themselves why tolerate it.

I always make a point of objecting when I hear someone else use it.

Why now, why not fight back during the bush era?
It looks bush jr got a lot of freepass to me.

I don't mind if people want to fight back at all. I'm just not sure about their motives or reasonings. Some definitely have legitmate reasons, but again, why now?

The term starting with N was Nazi, not the other word that you were implying. Honest mistake, I thought that too until I read the article.

The title of the article was "Right-Wing Conference Tells Activists To Get Their Guns Ready For ‘Bloody Battle’ With Obama The Nazi "

The subject line here at ATS so conveniently cut off at 'Obama The N" either due to lazyness or to incite assumptions.

That is good to know.

My overall argument remains the same though about the n word.

The labels would go away if the more extreme part of the Republican party would tone it down a bit. When they are running around with questionable signs, screaming at town meetings about evil socialism, and making statements about armed revolutions, people are going to think they are nuts. They appear to mainstream America just like the guy who screams at everyone on the street corner that they are going to hell.

You have completely not understood what this woman was saying.

First of all, Hitler was far far left, not right. And her comment about guns, was that Hitler had them removed before he took over the country in the sense we think of him now. So she was saying that people should not give up their guns so the people have the means to resist,

If the far left in America doesn't try to follow in the footsteps of Nazi Germany, then there will not be problems with the vast majority of gun owners in America. If they do, you will be happy some have the resources to resist. Either way, in my mind, there is more risk in not allowing citizens the means to resist a tyrannical govt, than allowing them to. As someone else stated, most gun owners are very laid back people that view gun use as the very last means of resistance.

For the record, I do not think Obama is trying to be like Hitler. I hope I'm correct in that assumption.

That is a common mispreception but not true. Hitler and the Nazi party despite the socialist in their name were hyper right wing and were vehemently against both the real socialists and communists in both Germany and the countries they invaded.

That's über Ignorance because Hitler hated Marxist Socialism and killed both Socialists and Communists.

National Socialism despite it's name was a far-right fascist movement!

Let's take a look what Hitler himself said, shall we? :

Great interviews of the 20th century

This edited interview of Adolf Hitler by George Sylvester Viereck took place in 1923. It was republished in Liberty magazine in July 1932:

"When I take charge of Germany, I shall end tribute abroad and Bolshevism at home."

"Bolshevism," the chief of the Brown Shirts, the Fascists of Germany, continued, gazing at me balefully, "is our greatest menace. Kill Bolshevism in Germany and you restore 70 million people to power. France owes her strength not to her armies but to the forces of Bolshevism and dissension in our midst.

"The Treaty of Versailles and the Treaty of St Germain are kept alive by Bolshevism in Germany. The Peace Treaty and Bolshevism are two heads of one monster. We must decapitate both."

I met Hitler not in his headquarters, the Brown House in Munich, but in a private home - the dwelling of a former admiral of the German Navy. We discussed the fate of Germany over the teacups.

"Why," I asked Hitler, "do you call yourself a National Socialist, since your party programme is the very antithesis of that commonly accredited to socialism?"

"Socialism," he retorted, putting down his cup of tea, pugnaciously, "is the science of dealing with the common weal. Communism is not Socialism. Marxism is not Socialism. The Marxians have stolen the term and confused its meaning. I shall take Socialism away from the Socialists.

Socialism is an ancient Aryan, Germanic institution. Our German ancestors held certain lands in common. They cultivated the idea of the common weal. Marxism has no right to disguise itself as socialism. Socialism, unlike Marxism, does not repudiate private property. Unlike Marxism, it involves no negation of personality, and unlike Marxism, it is patriotic.
---

"We want a greater Germany uniting all German tribes. But our salvation can start in the smallest corner. Even if we had only 10 acres of land and were determined to defend them with our lives, the 10 acres would become the focus of regeneration. Our workers have two souls: one is German, the other is Marxian. We must arouse the German soul. We must uproot the canker of Marxism. Marxism and Germanism are antitheses.

"In my scheme of the German state, there will be no room for the alien, no use for the wastrel, for the usurer or speculator, or anyone incapable of productive work."

The cords on Hitler's forehead stood out threateningly. His voice filled the room. There was a noise at the door. His followers, who always remain within call, like a bodyguard, reminded the leader of his duty to address a meeting.

Hitler gulped down his tea and rose.

www.guardian.co.uk...

So don't be fooled by listening to phony American wing nut propaganda that is lying to you! - Please educate yourself!

Hitler was a Right-Wing Authoritan Fascist, the Antithesis of Marxist Socialism & Communism - God damn it!!

Actually there's an arguement there in itself. If you're talking about economically then maybe you're correct as he rejected capitalism although he too rejected marxism. But he was not left wing.

Neither were the Nazi's typical socialists in any way or form...

As the left wing values individual rights and the rights of minorities as equals... Does that sound like Hitler to you? The same Hitler who almost exterminated the jews, the slavs, the gypsies, the handicapped, the retarded, people of mixed race etc etc...

But if we're talking about his social ideals, he was as far right wing as you come. If we're talking about his diplomatic and social policies, he was again right wing.

He supported extreme nationalism, racialism and sexism. This again is typical of the far right.

Hitler used the left (economically) to his own gain, stepping up to his 'throne' as a peoples figure. This is where the confusion arises.

He was more of an authoritarian figure which swings to the right in a fascist way. The complete polar opposite of say, Ghandi who was a liberal leftie.

Hope this makes sense.
