That's a good theory aswell...... but for the next couple of weeks? Is there any reason you assume this will happen??

I'm still seeing a lot of activity along the San Andreas....wonder if that one will be the next to pop??

Peace

Rob,

Thanks for the very informative geology lesson!! You would think that after spending almost 500 pages on "the yellowstone" thread i would know something about volcanoes but this i didn't know..

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 has hit Sumatra, a day after another powerful quake devastated parts of the Indonesian island.

As for this thread the OP is trying to say don't read too much into webbot.
And went on to make is own prediction and he's been right turns himself in to an earthquake guru.
But do not take this too serious he was just trying to prove a point about webbot and got very lucky.
On the other point i'm no expert but there is a uptick in earthquake's but it could be normal.
Read the opening post says it better than i could i just confused myself with this post.

THANKYOU

Well i recon they would be talking about the New Madrid Seismic Zone

But as far as i know that has more to do with an ancient supervolcano that used to be there.... I'd suggest you asked alysha.angel...

Peace

Well i beg to differ....

I said i logically analysed data and assumed a big quake would hit somewere around a ceratin hotspot because of a few factors which i saw early on in the month....

That is not the same as "getting lucky"...
