'Toy Story' 1 and 2 Theatrical Re-Release in 3D for Two Weeks

Yup. This Friday (October 2nd) is the re-release date. It will be released for only two weeks, so go see it while you can. Here is a commercial for it. Oh yeah, a trailer for 'Toy Story 3' (which will also be in 3D) will be shown with it.

Disney: How can we get people to pay $20 a pop to see our old movies?

Executive: How about re re-release Toy Story in the theaters in 3D, and then re-release the DVD in Blu-Ray and 3D and tell the little brats out there to scream and have temper tantrums until Mommy and Daddy open their wallets.

Haha! Well, I am seeing it. It'll be fun! Plus, you're technically only paying for one movie.

I saw it, nothing was changed, the same awesome movie! The intermission reminded me of the old drive-in theaters, of course the sound went out at the start of the second movie, but it's not like I've never seen it before. 10/10
