Ladies you have just seen the future the lost of all power so I would head for the government positions as quickly as possible.

I saw this on an old Alfred Hitchcock flick.It was a robot (male) called the something 2000...it became like a fatal attraction and took the family away from the man,but there was a good twist.It was actually pretty good

Why this is deplorable! Why on earth would someone want to take a robot and...and...Where might I find one of these so called, robots? I mean just so I know how to avoid them. You know, so I know where not to get them? Hehe.

I suppose sex is as much mental as it is physical so Robots could "simulate" the experience but I doubt it would be as "fulfilling" as doing it to a another human being.

But then again, it would spare a lot of awkward "dates", "morning-after's" etc and be relatively safer with respect to accidental pregnancies, STD's etc. Also, the sex trade would take a severe hit increasing unemployment.

I suppose these "robots" will be quite expensive and be pretty custom made novelty items rather than everyday 'sex toys' .

Okay, okay, we need to bring some decorum to this thread before the Moderators relegate it to BTS or worse to the Trash Bin.



Sexuality being what it is in the modern day and age of technology being reduced to a bunch of wires, sheet metal, and circuitry has got to be one of more confusing and odd types of topics to talk about here on ATS considering the Internet has now almost taken over television watching and interaction with your close social network of friends locally. Having been on the Internet now like I have been for twenty plus years, I have noticed a decline of how people go out and interact with the public, an example being perfectly fit here, in ATS where people will socialize as well as criticize the Government at will without fear of repercussions, so the thought of "sex" with a robot, or for that matter "pleasure machines" is rather disturbing considering the ultimate rise of "cyber-sex" where two consenting adults can and will type out naught fantasy roles while not actually having physical contact.

That technology would be used for anything other than researching information, communications over long distances, and as well various other types of electronic functions, I am sure this is not what the creators of the ARPANET had in mind for the Internet, let alone the creators of the robots that are now being induced into the mainstream through movies, cartoons, and the science fiction genre.

What exactly does this type of technology point to when Federal Employees are caught surfing for pornography, if the rise of the robot, towards sexuality and sexual proclivities in the consensual populace takes place when Federal Authorities will be manning those same types, styles, and functionary robots?
