As for lack of contribution to the war in Iraq.. AND war On terrorism

And your point would be.......WHAT? We sent troops to Afganistan, 4 killed by friendly fire, read a cowboy pilot, almost another dozen injured. The UN say no to Iraq, so we're supposed to bend over and let Uncle Sam (George) have his way with us because that's what he wants. When the US went to Iraq, I heard all this "Bush is standing up to the UN." bunk. So our PM say no to Bush and he's not standing up to Bush, he's turning his back on him. Pick one and go with it. Don't pull that double-standard bunk just to get your way. You look childish.

We still have no proof of what happened in Spain with the bombings, we cant accuse Queda. So far they have just bluffed like noth korea about its nukes! Canada, since with their new pm more agreed with US policies, will have higher US-lead security when/if the US claims it "a threat to the citizens of the united states". Untill then, waiting and researching are my plans on that topic.

Am I missing something here?

First of all there are no terrorists, per se. Only militant movements directed and orchestrated by the CIA to fullfill the NWO plans. Terrorize the general population into submission and away you go.

Do I expect an event to take place in Canada? Only if the US secret government decides to let it happen. Let's see....Turkey didn't want to let the US use their air space against Iraq = bombing. Spain's newly elected government promised to pull out all the troops, the public was against the war, only chance of getting a BUSH friendly regime in Spain = bombing. Australia's general population was against the war and similar election issues were taking place = Bali bombing (where 85% of the dead were Aussies). Maybe BUSH and his buddies can dream up something creative for us in Canada. I for one won't buy it as a legitimate act of terrorism against Canada. Just a smokescreen out of the Pentagon in an attempt to salvage the adminstration's reputation and to hopefully get some Canadians on their side. Not me. It's all a load of horse s$*&.

Maybe that zipperhead Tom Ridge can come up with a 'terror alert' warning system for Canada......in metric!

Go Flames!

I for one hope that Canada doesn't get hit.

Sure, we have our differences. But at the end of the day, we still share 1/2 the continent with our neighbors to the north. Just as in a personal situation, you're not going to always get along with, or even like your neighbors, but you've still got to live with them. If your neighbor's house is on fire, you're still going to try to help.

While Canada's support in the greater war on terror is admittedly 'lackluster', their support in Afghanistan is certainly commendable. Their sniper teams, while underfunded and underequipped, produced some truly amazing results. "Attaboy" to them, for sure.

This in itself makes Canada a target, but I don't think it's in their interests to do so. Canada does make too good a staging ground for US operations, and the results gained from such an attack might not only be inefficient insofar as the time/effort involved in pulling it off, but might be downright counterproductive to Al-Qaeda's agenda, as many in this thread have pointed out.

Good luck Canada. At least you know your neighbors to the south aren't going to desert you if the going gets tough. Sure, we might annex you a few years down the line, but hey...
j/k

Remember we are having an election in late june now(the 30th i think). ALOT of people of very pissed at the Liberals for pissing away another 200 mil and the fact is most people up here believe they have been in power too long as a majority gov't. Paul Martins political career will be in seroius jepordy if he is seen to be cowtowing to American interests as about 75% were against the war in Canada(about 99.99999 % in my neighborhood) and have a very unfavorable opinion of the Current(and some past..) US Administration(s) in general that has been festering for a while now. The only person that sees eye to eye with G.W. Bush in Canadian politics now is Stephen Harper and his chances of getting elected are slim to none. The NPD candidate Jack Layton even went to say he hated America, but when cornered later he rephrased and said it was Americas Foriegn Policy he hated. So either way we gonna have a minority gov't that will be severly handihapped in the amount of support we can give to the US in anything at least for the forseeable future barring any attack that is............................

I think people are miscalculating the mindset of the Al Qaeda terrorists. Their issue isn't whether or not the target will glean them political brownie points or lose them, but to cause terror, unstoppable, unseen terror, as a means of manipulation of the masses. The masses appear to be anyone who doesn't follow their brand of islam (fundamental wahhabism) and who they think of as infidels, which I'm assuming is pretty much everybody else on the planet.

You can't be serious??? Read again what you quote above...you are the poster boy for the results of effective propaganda. Oh look, the government or the military or CNN said this.....IT MUST BE TRUE! AL QAEDA training books were found??? Your are a complete joke! Watch more news??? This is your problem, you believe what you see on TV and what they tell you in the media. Don't you know that the media in your country is owned and operated either by the big defense contractors or puppets of the NWO regimes?? Get real bud! Do us a favour and return to the Ken and Barbie discussion board. I do believe that ATS is for those who have something to offer rather than plugging the party line for BUSH and the US MILITARY.

Dude, you must be confused.
The Spanish government in power at the time of the bombing was friendly to Bush and the phony war in Iraq and the greater charade, the war on terror. This Spanish government was on its way out as the upcoming elections were to transfer power to a more anti-war style regime. This new cat promised to pull out the Spanish troops. That is why the US secret intelligence orchestrated the train bombings - so that the general population would be deceived into thinking that those bad Al Qaeda guys did this to them, let's not pull out of Iraq but go bust some more heads. Too bad it backfired as the public and the new government didn't buy it.

Ok Joker,
your alledging that the Gov of the USA was behind the train attacks in Spain?

I must have missed that joke....

What do you substantiate that fantasy with? The vague and nebulous NWO, which you cannot define nor substantiate? Why not just say god did it then?

What does that have to do with an attack against Canada?
Extrapolating motive from an already undefined and intangible entity called the NWO?
Any theory you'd present, would be no more valid than a second hand guess about an opponent you dont know.
