All I really have to say is I PASSED!. B+ or so. I probably would have only made a C- awhile back. Still going for the A + extra credit. I can do it; I know it!

This one must be for the smart crazy people. It was much harder. I guess I'm not an ivy league nut case. I'll have to stick to state institutions.

Egads, you took that test?

I can't believe their servers didn't off themselves and are still humming.

j/k buddy, I'd tell you to take it with a grain of salt if I didn't already know you harvested the ocean.

I just took the test and I scored Low on every one. I answered honestly. Does that mean I'm normal?

Interesting question ...

"Normal" is just another subjective and relative conception ... it really doesn't mean anything in real terms.

For what t's worth the AMA folks probably think so, though it would never be in their interest to concede it. As such expect a new category to be created soon to ensure that you have a disorder to get in to. They usually do that AFTER they find a pill to "help" you deal with it.

Well, come to think of it, I'm a little freaked out that I scored normal. Why did I score normal? Did I answer the questions right? Did I click on the right box? OMG, I'm sure I did something wrong. Now, see what that darn test did to me? No, I'm not paranoid that I messed it up, not at all. Was paranoia one of the disorders?

I would be surprised to find anyone here with a "low" on Paranoid.

And the narcissistic one...heck aren't we all trying to learn to love ourselves. This is as it should be.

Great fun SD.

Not that this type of thing is the tell all to any persons particular type of personality, it is lacking in the obvious nature of the personalities of other people of whom one might come into contact with.
Some of the questions are not so much personal in nature but opinions on the thoughts of other people.
Other people can themselves have personality disorders and view you in such a way, that if you answered yes to a pertaining question, that puts you in the red.
Such as in the workplace, people often will mistake confidence for arrogance, which is one of the questions, "Have others accused you of being arrogant?"

Another question that is completely off in it's assessment is, "Have you ever been in jail or done something that you could be put in jail for?"
2 questions really, if you answer one way or another to one you are answering both. 2 Completely different circumstances.
But then again, they are not being very specific.

I got a ticket that I never knew about and wound up locked up with murderers and rapists because I never paid it. Does that make me anti social or give me a personality disorder?

Total Mcdonalds generation type of mentality, whomever came up with this farce.
It's ironic too, because on of the questions is, "Do you often see things in black and white terms? In other words, something either is or it isn't, with no gray area in between. "
I guess they should have taken their own quiz before they posted it.
Life is all about shades of gray my friends.

Are you sure you answered the part about seeking approval and validation from others right?

I can't post my results because I'm worried you won't like me anymore. :p
No, seriously, I haven't seen so much red since Santa came to the walk-in clinic with that embarrassing infection.....something about two dollars, the back seat of his sled and a woman named Mrs. Bernanke.

You know what ... I just had an idea.

If lots of you share your test results on this thread, I'll compile them and do a "disorder" profile for ATS members. Not that it will mean anything but at least we will know what they think we are.

Mods are obviously not invited to participate as they would unfairly skew the crazy curve.

It becomes clear that once you've embraced all then you are as much unlike these things as like them. Personally, I have no concern and yet I do. I'll let my actions speak.

Well apparently I'm in need of a new jacket and some nice rubber walls.

But am I really paranoid if the government is actually watching everything I do?

Boy they got it wrong.
If they really knew how crazy i really am.

The funny part is when i took the pre employment personality test that some companies give i should have been at the top of the hiring list.
and i never got even a offer on one of those jobs.

Now i wonder what those test were even for.

Nice find! But what a crock of a test! I won't post my results. Let just say only one of the categories resulted in "low" while the rest were... well, varied.

Me:
2nd Me at 1stMe:
3rd Me:

I refer to my favorite poet Emily Dickinson in this case:

"And Something's odd—within—
That person that I was—
And this One—do not feel the same—
Could it be Madness—this?"

If it is madness, then so be it.

Don't think the test was fair, had trick questions, and should be rated 1-5 as some answers wouldn't necessarily be yes or no

Disorder | Rating
Paranoid: High
Schizoid: High
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: High
Borderline: Moderate
Histrionic: Very High
Narcissistic: Very High
Avoidant: Moderate
Dependent: Low
Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate

Dang voices, I blame them all, I keep telling them, but they won't listen, they'd rather argue

Schizotypal: Very High
Antisocial: High
Borderline: Very High
Histrionic: Very High
Narcissistic: Very High
Avoidant: Very High more

then tryed the test by answering all the question NO.

and found out how to beat the test.

Borderline: Low
Histrionic: Low
Narcissistic: Low
